Heya, ya miss me?
Heh, I got lazy again . . . . .

I'm starting to wonder, these days I don't really seem to have the same passion of myO as I used to. I mean, I still absolutely adore coming here, obviously, and stuff, but the drive to check everyone and everything is starting to take its toll on me . . . scary, ne?

So I dunno, I mean, it's not like I'm busy or anything - clearly, that's not the case. In any case, though, should you see less of me suddenly, I'm not dead or snubbin' ya - I'm just . . . not here, is all.

I'm sure this is just a phase I'll grow out of, though. I mean, I'm sure it'll be just like my nailbiting, or my eye-blinking, or my extreme laziness, or . . . . . waitaminute . . . . . . . . aw crap . . . . .

   Oof . . . . .
Alright, so a lot of us here play or practice sports or other such athletic whatevers, right? So you know what I'm talking about when I speak of when you have a "good day", right? Ya know, the run doesn't seem so tiring, you're making all your shots, you're jumping higher than you usually are . . . you're just feelin' it, right?

Well, Sunday morning at kung-fu, I was having one of those days. I was stretching farther, jumping higher, taking my stances lower, and all-around just going out more than usual. It feels good, I gotta tell ya . . .

. . well . . . . . the next day, it didn't feel quite so good . . . my hamstrings are killing me right now! Aiya! Heh . . . . . oh yeah, and at some point, I torqued my back funny too. Now, it's nothing too serious, and it'll go away in the next day or two, but I'm just sayin' that that kinda hurts too.

Yeah, I broke myself . . . tee hee . . . . .

Ah, well, at least RotK won . . .
(Sweep! Sweep! SWEEEP!!!)

Hehe . . . I'll think of some meat to post about tomorrow, savvy?

   YES! YES! YE-HE-HE-HESSS!!!!!!!
ELEVEN OUT OF FRIGGIN' ELEVEN!!!!!! YES!!!!! Lord of the FRIGGIN' Rings!!! The Friggin' Return of the Friggin' King!!!!!!!

What can I say, I'm a happy boy tonight. Best Picture for my darling movie just made it. It was wonderful . . . . . in fact, I don't even think I can think of anything else to say . . . I shouted out loud in my basement, jumped, and probably swore . . . actually, no, I didn't swear . . . I just shouted like I was having sex, was all.
[lewd](Yes! YES! YESSS!!!) Heh . . . [/lewd]

But yeah, that was good times . . . Billy Crystal was magic, which was great, and we didn't get any Halle-wannabes (phew!). Ah . . . . .

Oh yeah, though I really didn't care about 'em all too much, seeing The Barbarian Invasion win Best Foreign for Canada made me smile . . . if not for anything else but for the opening statement,
"I'm just glad that Lord of the Rings didn't qualify for this category."
What gold . . . . .

But yes, let us raise our glasses this day . . . to the victorious dead! Erm . . . eheh . . . . . to Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, the entire cast, and the people of the island nation of New Zealand! Congratulations, it was far too long in its coming.

[lewd]"YES! OH YES! OH! OH! OH YEAH!!!"[/lewd]

(And, in other news, MSN Messenger is being a dick tonight . . . way to ruin a good night, MSN, way to go . . . . .)

   Aiya! I'm getting lazy again!
Man, I really need to get back into my old rhythm for posting and checkin' again . . . this just isn't workin' out too well . . . . .

Anyhoo, the swing dance the other night was really fun. Not a whole lot of people came, but it was still really enjoyable. In fact, as I type this, my legs and arms are still sore (I'm still trying to figure out why my arms are sore . . . holding too many people for too long on dips, maybe? Hmm . . .). So yeah, good fun, good fun . . .
And yeah, "Legolas" sold me out. He tried to call me during that day, but I guess I was napping or something, so he didn't know if I was still going to the dance or not - therefore, he did not go. Yeah, I guess I'll say he's stupid . . . again . . . on the plus side, I didn't have to go out for wings afterwards, so I got to catch the 1am showing of Inuyasha! So yeah, they've gotten up to Kagura and Kanna now . . . lookin' good, methinks . . . . .

As it turns out, Battle Royale 2 was indeed as not good as people say. I still enjoyed it enough, and it did try to get a neat message across . . . I mean, that message itself is part of what'll NEVER allow it to be distributed here, but ya know . . .

Annnnnnd . . . . . um . . . . . yeah. Later!

   Ano . . . let's talk about movies!
I've some bad news, I think . . . this morning, my History midterm . . . yeah, not good. I didn't even finish, it was pretty bad. I dunno, it wasn't even that I didn't really know the stuff - I just took too damn long . . . . . . ick. Yeah, after I wrote what I could, we were all told to hand in, I just went up to my prof, told him, "I'll do better in April [for the final] . . ." I think the best part of that, though, was that he said "thank you" for the test though he instinctively wanted to say "it's okay" . . . yeah, today I suck . . . . . so let's talk about happy stuff!

In other news, Fulltime Killer is a pretty rockin' Hong Kong flick. Great action, enjoyable characters, plus the fact that the movie is spoken in FOUR different languages/dialects that I respond to my mother with at home (she doesn't understand it when I speak Japanese, though) . . . it made for some good fun movie-watchin'.

Along with that, I also watched Lost in Translation, which my brother rented. Now, he didn't like it and his girlfriend found it boring at times . . . it's to be expected. It's a pretty artsy-ish movie, so not everyone's gonna like it (daughter of Francis Ford Coppola, go fig, eh?). Me, personally, in that I actually understood a fair deal of Japanese along with Tokyo pop culture to an extent (gotta love the anime for that), I found the film to be pretty sweet and enjoyable . . . needless to say, whenever I buy DVDs, I'm usually the only one who'll watch them.

So let's see . . . what else did I watch yesterday instead of study . . . . . oh yeah! King of Comedy! Erm . . . at least I think that's what it was called . . . . . in any case, another Hong Kong film, starring Stephen Chow (he was in Shaolin Soccer [which ALL of you should watch as well!]). It didn't have subtitles, so I actually had to work especially hard to figure out what they were talking about (blasted loss of second language . . .). Nevertheless, a funny, funny movie with some really clever jokes in between the slapstick . . .

I ever tell ya I love my Hong Kong movies? Heh . . . . .

I still have to watch Battle Royale 2, which may or may not suck. I've heard very few good things about it, but ya know, I enjoyed the first one, so who knows? I'm sure I'll find something redeeming about it - I'm like that with movies, ya know . . . I like 'em when they're bad just as much as when they're good!

(And now, if you shall excuse me, I'm going to get cheeky . . .)
Oh, so did ya hear? I heard a woman died while watching The Passion of The Christ!
Heh . . . so many people have been telling me this tidbit of information for all of the past two days - I'm serious, this is getting worse than Janet's boobie! But, we'll see what happens . . .

Alright, so I'm posting at a weird time. That's because I'm at school right now - there's a social swing dance at 7pm, so I'm just waitin' for it. And then after that, my idiot friend "Legolas" wants to go get cheap chicken wings out far away . . . I may or may not make it back for Inuyasha tonight . . . . . kusu . . .

Alright, I'm done. Ja matte ne!

   Ah got nuthin', again . . .
I downloaded Fulltime Killers and Battle Royale 2 yesterday. I'll have to be sure to watch those soon (hooray for bloody philosophy and Takashi Sorimachi AND Andy Lau!) Eheh . . . . . otherwise, still waitin' on AnimeKeep to finish their sub of Gunslinger Girl, and then I'll burn off and lock that one away . . . aw! I still need to buy more CD-Rs! Aiya!
(Where's the Summer Night Market when you need it? Seriously, 100 CD-Rs for $30 can?!)

In other news, I'm really curious as to how that 'identification' midterm went for me yesterday . . . as I passed by people when I went to hand it in, I realised that I wasn't NEARLY writing as much as some people! I was about 5-6 lines a response . . . some people were like, a full page, single-space! Crazy!
So yeah, once again to reiterate, I am not a good role-model for schooling, savvy?

Heh . . . . . um . . . and yeah, that's that. The Passion of The Christ came out yesterday, though I didn't see it - I am trying to see if my Latin class'll wanna see it next week, though (heehee . . . field trip!). I dunno, from all "reliable" critics, it's supposed to be really good, really powerful, and so on . . . and yeah, people probably are making a bigger deal out of it than it has to be and stuff . . . but we'll see . . . . .

And yeah, that shall be that. You all have a nice Thursday, then.

Why am I here an NOT studying?!!
Um . . . . . uh . . . . . . . . . yeah, I should be studying . . . um . . . . . .

Oh, in film class today we watched The Best Years Of Our Lives. It was pretty rockin' for a 3 hour '40s film - I really liked it.

Ooh! And then, after I got out and started walking to the bus, guess who I ran into? Heehee . . . . . after almost a month of not physically seeing "The Girl", she just happens to be heading towards her building! Yay! Sadly, I was dead tired, so I probably wasn't especially interesting to talk to . . . but yeah, I walked her to that lounge of hers and whatnot, got a funny grin on my face, ya know . . . mmm, so, it seems I don't really look at her very much - I've been noticing this. Like, I say "I'll talk to ya later", and though I'm touching her back as I say this, I later don't recall making eye contact or anything . . . wonder what's up with that, huh?

In other news, the Vikings are now my bitches. They won't be bothering me any more, I don't think . . . same with them Russians too . . . yeah, I showed 'em who's boss (the ways I love tanks . . . . .). Erm . . . yeah, I guess I kinda played that game a lot tonight . . . hokay! Study! STUDY!!!

Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it!

   And now we're back to ordinary time . . . . .
Hiya! How are you all doing? Well, I'm pretty happy now that I've finished off my second pulp novel about the deliciously dynamic dummy duo that is Cream Filling and Nougat. I mean, I know many of you are now upset that it's over, but let's face it, that thing took up a LOT of time! I mean, it seriously cut out a LOT of my surfing time to check out all of your pages! If you had noticed my recent absences from my regular routes, that was the reason . . . well, that and Civ3 (I'm playing as the French now - and the Vikings are being jerks!). Um . . . yeah, sorry 'bout that one . . . . .

So yeah, this week is back to school week. I've already been brushed up for a 2-day midterm in History that starts on Wednesday. It should be okay, I suppose . . . just need to be sure to study lots tomorrow . . . . . so, I guess that means I need to stay away from the Civ3 . . . . . . . .
( . . . but I wanna beat up those damn Vikings!!!! Gaaaah!)

Ahem . . . so yeah, back to school now, meaning I'll probably be around this site more. Yeah, I know - funny how that works out, eh? Alright, I'm off to the pages! See ya in about . . . two seconds. Peace!

Cream Filling & Nougat: Second Coating (Chapter X)
Everybody was escorted back down to the ground floor of the plaza. Local officers and paramedics soon arrived and started attending to everyone, trying to make sense of what had happened that night. One of the higher ups was speaking with Cream and Nougat, discussing matters of collateral damage and insurance - Cream took most of the responsibility.
"So, the chief's gonna tear you a new one, isn't he?" the officer said.
"Wouldn't be the first time," Cream replied, "but, we've - I've - done worse before, so I'm sure we'll live." The officer wrote down a couple more things on a small pad.
"So what are you gonna tell him this time?" Cream shrugged.
"I dunno, that I hate Valentine's Day?" The officer just shook his head before he walked away to some of the newly-arrived representatives of the plaza; they all looked rather upset.

A paramedic asked Cream to take a seat and get his wrist checked out and he complied, sitting down on a bench near the entrance of the plaza. After watching his partner sit down, Nougat took a good look at the main doors into the plaza. That sort of damage to any highly public area was always frowned upon, and he knew it was going to be a long time before they dug their way out of this one, regardless of how many millions of dollars in jewels they saved. While he sighed, he looked towards Connie and Basil, who were sitting at a bench across from Cream was; a paramedic was catering to his arm.

Nougat walked over to the two would-be jewel thieves. Basil was making an odd face of sorts as the paramedic stitched his right arm back together. Connie, meanwhile, sat with a blanket around herself; her arms were clasped around Basil's left, her hand intertwined with his. Nougat stepped before them.
"Alright, I need to know," he said, "why this?" Basil shrugged.
"Those gems would've bought a lot of nice things . . ."
"You're serious?" Nougat threw back. "This wasn't exactly a simple heist you tried to pull off tonight. It was just for the hell of getting some extra cash?"

"Hey," Connie said before Basil could say anything, "those jewels would have bought a lot of anonymity. We could have gotten out of this city, away from everyone and everything . . ." Nougat just glared at her.
". . . that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" Connie lowered her brows. "This is the real world! That sort of crap doesn't just happen to work out like in the movies! Geez . . . didn't your parents teach you anything?"
"You think I even care about that right now?" Connie spat back, holding Basil's arm tighter while both of them glared hard at Nougat - he rolled his eyes and threw up his arms.
"Alright, you know what? Screw it, you two are goin' to jail, happy Valentine's Day . . ."

Nougat walked back over to his partner, holding his shaking head with one hand.
"Man, are all you kids that impulsive and stupid?" he asked. Cream smiled.
"Heh . . . . . yeah, more or less . . . most of us, anyway . . ." Nougat took a knee in front of Cream and the paramedic, who was still bandaging the cuts in Cream's wrist.
"Well, I guess you've just got another good reason to hate this day?"
"Nah," Cream responded, his jaw jutting out at an angle as he spoke, "there've been worse days than today . . . well, this particular day, anyway."
"I'm sure . . ."
"No, really, I'm not kiddin' . . ."

After people were patched up and Basil and Connie were put into the ambulance, two familiar officers came up to the stars of the night. With broad smiles, Cream and Nougat happily relinquished their borrowed vests and sidearms.
"So you guys gonna give us a ride home or what?" Nougat asked, pouting as masculinely as he could.
"Ah, get in," the one on the driver's side said. Nougat laughed in triumph and walked over to the back door of the squad car; Cream just smirked, shook his head, and walked over to the other one.

The other two officers had already gotten into the front seats when Nougat called Cream over the top of the car.
"Hey Whip', for what it's worth . . ." he said, "I don't much care for this day either . . ." Cream cocked his head as he nodded to him. "But still, it's not that bad to ya, is it?" Cream scoffed, though he retained his smile.
"Come on, it's easy for you to say . . . believe me, I'm sure most girls would be much happier with a 'Nougat' for Valentine's Day than a 'Cream'." Nougat paused for a moment before looking back up.
"Yeah, you're probably right." Cream shook his head again and opened the car door while Nougat laughed.

"Ya know," Nougat went on, "I'm gonna tell 'Mel that you broke her security systems."
"I broke the building, not the systems attached to it!" Nougat continued to laugh as he got into the car. "Seriously, you say anything like that to her and you're gonna be in for a world of hurt . . . you know I don't bluff about that sort of stuff!" Cream closed the door and looked to his side; Nougat just stared, giving an odd look of sorts. "'sides," Cream continued, "I'm totally gonna call 'Mel before you do . . ."
"Yeah, yeah . . ." Nougat said, grinding the words out as long and harsh as he could. Cream could contain his laughter upon hearing that . . .

"Ah, just get me home . . ." he said to the driver through the plastic divider in the car, "so I can finally kill off this blasted day . . . . . I'll even give you level three authorization to go lights and sirens . . ." Cream could see the officer visibly shake from laughter as he drove away from the wrecked City Centre. "No, seriously, man . . . . ."

And so ends the sequel to the soon-to-be-famous duo of Cream Filling and Nougat. Man, this thing took a lot of free time outta me - especially since I didn't know what I was writing about! Heehee . . . . but yeah, as always, I hope you all enjoyed my over-stretching of events that may or may not have occured on the day of February 14th. As always, I take no responsibility for having pissed anyone off, yada yada yada. Good night, rest well . . . I'll most likely kill you in the morning . . . . . peace!

Cream Filling & Nougat: Second Coating (Chapter IX)
Cream climbed up the shoddy staircase and dropped back over the wall again.
"Which way did they go?" he asked Nougat in a very serious manner between heavy breaths.
"Fire exit," Nougat said, nodding his head towards the stairway. "Dude, you don't look too hot . . ." Cream gave him a cold glare. ". . right, stupid comment . . ." Cream took another breath and walked up to his partner.
"Noug', I'm outta bullets," he said, "give me your gun." Nougat didn't let it show, but inside he was trembling a little.
"Whip', I don't think that's such a . . ."
"Give it to me!" Nougat barely had time to turn the grip towards Cream before he snatched it quickly and started running for the stairway. Nougat pressed his earpiece closer to himself.
"Yeah, guys, um . . . if might be a good idea for you to get some people along the outside of the building . . ."

Basil and Connie ran hard up the stairs until they reached the fifth level of the outer floors.
"Basil, he's still coming up!" Connie said as he tugged her by the arm across the banistered hallway. Basil swore to himself.
"Alright, come on . . . we'll get out through the patio outside," he said as he ran the plans through his head.
"You sure?" she thought as she looked back and saw Cream, slightly hunched over as he ran forward. "We are on the fifth floor . . ."
"I'll think of something . . . just run!"

As they approached the patio, Basil told Connie to shoot the nearest window; she broke it apart, and emptied her gun in the process. The two of them could hear Cream shouting for their surrender as they ran through the broken pane. Basil, however, managed to clip the corner of the glass as they jumped through and cut his arm hard, taking a bit of glass with him before slipping and colliding with a metal table, knocking it and the umbrella held through it over - it had just recently started raining, and the ground was slippery all over. Connie pulled him up as quickly as she could as they headed towards the edge of the metal and glass railing at the edge of the patio.

"Alright, Connie," Basil said, holding his right elbow a little, and motioning to the side of the glass wall, "you gotta get a hold of the drainpipe and slide down."
"Five stories?!" Connie protested. "There has to be a better way!"
"There is no other way!" Connie looked back up and saw Cream stepping through the window, weapon raised. His breathing was even more erratic than before.
"I swear to god," he said, "you move an inch and I'll make sure you never move again . . ."

Connie stood, frozen until Basil grabbed her arms and swung her hard over the railing and into the wet, plastic drainpipe on the outside of the building.
"Get down fast, don't let go," he whispered to her. She nodded her acknowledgement; it was then that Cream fired.

He missed, though the crack of the gunshot and the snap of the passing bullet was enough to spook both of them. Connie lost her grip and started falling away from the drainage pipe, screaming; Basil, however, was able to reach out with his right hand and catch her. As she swung back towards the railing, Basil grunted hard - the glass was taking its toll . . .
"Oh my god . . ." Connie said meekly as she could feel the strength leaving his arm while she dangled precariously over the railing.
"Connie," he said back, the strain obvious in his voice, "I'm not gonna let go . . . not ever . . ." Basil reached over to her hand with his left, and instantly felt his feet starting to lift off the slippery ground. He dug his feet into the glass of the banister as best he could, and continued to try to pull up; they both knew it wasn't going to happen, though . . .
"Basil . . ." she let out softly as she felt tears start to form under her eyes.

By then, Cream had walked up directly next to them, still pointing the gun at Basil - his arm was shaking heavily.
"Kruid, what the hell did I just tell you?" he said harshly through his teeth. "All you had to do was listen, and this never would have had to happen." Basil looked to his side and saw Cream, dripping in the rain, pointing the gun at him . . . it was a sight he would long since never forget. He slipped against the railing again - he could feel Connie's hands slipping away from him . . .

"Alright, I give up," Basil said to Cream, "just . . . help me get her up . . . please . . . . ." Cream let his eyes and his aim go directly into Basil's eyes - they were desparate, pleading. He then pointed down at Connie, who was looking through the glass at him - there was a fright in them he had never seen in his life, during all the years of his career . . . . .

He holstered the pistol hastily and reached over the railing to Connie's arm. He counted to three, and the two of them hoisted her clean over the railing and onto the patio where she fell into Basil, knocking them both splashing in the in the uneven tile of the flooring. Immediately, Connie crawled her way into Basil's waiting arms, shivering as the rain continued to fall around them. Cream walked back to the railing and signaled Nougat, whom he had caught a glance of earlier while pulling Connie up, to bring the rest of the men up.
"You keep an eye on them," he heard Nougat say through his crackling, forgotten earpiece, "we're on the way up."
