And so, getting back into shape begins . . . .
Got out to kung-fu last night finally for a serious practice. There was just another guy there and our sifu, so there was plenty of floor space to work out. In any case, I've got a long way to go . . . my endurance is gone and my abs are out of shape. My stomach was buckling when I was doing kicks and stuff, and believe me, you need that middle hinged bit to do most of the stuff you need to do.
So abs, endurance, and general better shape. I have a month to work on those before Chinese New Year. Our lion dance schedule's set for three different malls on the 17th, 18th, and 24th of next month (I only mention this here so I can look back and remind myself later. Yeah, I'll blog to remind myself of things).
And then as I left the club, it was snowing again. Fun. Let's see how many accidents we have this morning . . . . .
In other news, I'm apparently the podcast team's favourite podcaster. This amuses me for all kinds of reasons.
I also finally got on track with watching my Season 4 DVDs of "The Dead Zone". Gotta tell ya, there's some major Vancouverage this season. Heh, in one episode with an autistic kid ("Heroes and Demons") they even go into a skytrain pretending it's like a long-distance train - they even show the touch-screen fare machine that has pictures of loonies and toonies on the coin thingy! Good times . . . good show . . .
We done? We done. Ma as-salaamah.
