Intermission . . . . .
First, to get some comments and questions out of the way:
Sahki': Hey, you can't diss the San Diego ComicCon. I'd absolutely love to go there some day . . . they talk about Avatar and Transformers there! Wanna take me some time?
Mimmsters: Yeah, I'm kinda sad that guy's back there to ruin my moment with the hot Rinoa . . . ah well. And yes, I totally brought the owl with me . . . though "Souji" ended up using it all trip instead of me somehow . . . hmm . . .
Nikki: The thing about "fucking otaku" was whenever we saw the REALLY bad geeks. Y'know, the ones who speak Japanese nonsense in the elevators, or make huge spectacles of themselves . . . y'know, the people with the bad kind of "no shame". Thus, I saw them, I would mutter "fucking otaku . . ." Something like that.
Anonymous: Honestly, I'm really sad my batteries died on Day 2. I wanted to take video of the theO meet-up and everything! But alas . . .
Red: You know that's all part of an internet meme joke, right? Bleach cosplayers did not actually make up 85% of the entire convention attendance . . . come now . . .
Jazie: Not counting the hour and a half of sitting in the line before registration started . . . I'd say maybe 20-30 minutes tops. So the irony is that we probably could have saved time had we just gone to the line after registration (it wasn't too bad Friday morning, especially compared to later days).
JD: I dunno, man. People love Kira; they see Kira, they glomp Kira.
Toxyu: Sorry . . . gotta keep on schedule. Thankfully archives'll always be there . . .
Also, as an addendum to last post, I forgot that we also went to McDonald's for dinner at some point (Myself, "Yoruichi", "Byakuya" and his friend/relative; I was in my Turk suit, and "Yoruichi" and "Byakuya" were in their cosplays. We felt slightly out of place until some other cosplayers came in later (the McDonald's was some blocks away from the convention center).
Any more comments come this way, I'll answer by editing this post itself. Anyway, Day 2 comes tomorrow!
