Things I learned about myself while overseas:
To summarize my seven weeks of travelling:

  • I'm extremely capable of doing the "protective SG" thing in person.
  • I could barely drink 2 liters of beer.
  • I fucking hate Travelocity.
  • I don't get homesick if I have good company. And internet.
  • I'm a hopeless romantic, through and through.
  • I love baguettes.
  • I'll eat pretty much anything and say it's "okay" even if it sucks.
  • I've taken good Chinese and Japanese food for granted.
  • I hate drawing images I have in my mind, and I have tons of them.
  • I'm willing to leave a LOT of things to chance.
  • People are amused when I pick up bits of their native languages.
  • I'm missing out in life for not getting more massages in my youth . . .
  • People are quick to trust me . . . go fig' . . . . .
  • I enjoy long-distance peek-a-boo with babies while in transit.
  • I truly am a frighteningly optimistic guy ('cause no one else wants to be).
  • I adapt to foreign keyboards quickly. Even AZERTY ones.
  • Europe loves Canadians.
  • I love being Canadian.
