Back to Normal Life . . . erm, sorta . . . . .
The final visitor has taken her plane back to Tennessee. My summer of out-of-towner-show-'er-arounder is over and done with, my work schedule is starting to get busy again . . . and once again I have a little more time to catch up with some very important people whom I've missed (yes, YOU know who you are . . .).
I dunno, the latest week was fun. Got to go to lots of places, eat at lots of restaurants I'd never been to . . . hell, I even found out about a really cheap karaoke place from some other people I came to know! Oh, while on that subject: last Sunday when it was suggested that we go sing, one of the "local Japanese girls" sang "Sokabasu" from Rurouni Kenshin, causing my jaw to drop . . .
But yeah, aside from my idiot friend "Legolas" who thought it'd be fun to go swimming in the ocean with all our clothes on (it was fun, technically, except that I forgot to empty my pockets and my watch is now dead), it was some good fun . . . . . and I remain forever known as "really nice".
So yeah, I'm back. And now that I'm back, I think it's time I put a dent back into this community, ne?
