University of British Columbia = University of Metropolis!!!!
Alright, so it's fairly common knowledge that the WB series "Smallville" films in Vancouver, BC, fair to say? Alright, that out of the way . . .

I came out of my first morning class yesterday and headed to my next building. There are a lot of trailers along the Main Mall of the campus. "Oh, someone must be filming again," I figure, since everyone films at my school for its, well . . . old school look. Anyway, I go past a stack of those "star actor" chairs . . . they say "Smallville" across the backs of them! I see a small sandwich board along the cement: "Smallville" is filming, sorry for the inconvenience" or something like that. Then there was the "building sign" stuck in the thing of grass that people usually just walk over to cut through the streets - "Univeristy of Metropolis" with arrows and directions and stuff . . .

Hehe . . . I was giddy. It really did make my day a little better (still sick and all, plus nosebleeds).

Anyway, during my first break, I had lunch, bought some Christmas presents (you know who you are), and sorta "drifted" back to that area again . . . this time, there were also two extra, mysteriously fake-looking newspaper vendor-thingies where there's usually only 2 - on one it had a logo for the Daily Planet (glee). Then all across this little ATM Messageboard was a big thing of "Metropolis Bulldogs" posters (more glee!). Then I saw the crowd lined along the tape near the Mathematics Annex . . .

So yeah, people came and went fast (remember, watching people set up and rehearse takes that only involve a guy walking slowly is in truth rather boring). I eventually got a pretty choice spot for watching stuff . . . . . and there she was! Lois Lane, wearing a big, long turqoise coat! W00t!!!!! I saw Lois!!! And she was talking to some asian dude with a backpack! And then some crewman with a big hat walked into my line of sight! Bastard!!!

So yeah, I was pretty happy about that . . . then I found a friend on the bus. She said she saw Chloe at about 3:30pm. Then I was sad because I missed Chloe (me loves Chloe too . . .). Ah, t'was good.

Not too shabby for a final day of classes, eh?
