Need . . . . super powers . . . . . . NOW!!!!
It dawned on me yesterday that I've been missing out on a lot of things happening in people's lives around here. And not just the "I got the Dodgeball DVD!" kind either . . .
We all know I have a bit of a hero-complex. I wanna be able to save the day and the lives of everyone I can, whether I have the ability to or not. And, well, it sucks that I can't. I certainly can't blame myself for that, especially since no one else is blaming me either . . . but still . . . . .
But yeah, it only took a couple of dear friends that day to remind me that we all have lives filled with hardship, frustration, and shock. And, as usual, here I sit over on the far coast of the continent, completely away from everyone . . . heh, why does British Columbia seem like it's its own island nation far off from every other part of the country/continent? It's just me, I know . . .
I'll find a way to protect and rescue you all some day . . . I'll moan and carp about it long and hard until then, but I will . . . you'll all hang in there for me until then, right?
