Procrastination . . .
The things we go through for a piece of paper that says that an expensive institution feels that we know a bit of stuff . . . gotta love legitimate education . . . . .
RotK:EE is beautiful. It made me cry at the end. Then there are the two short films by a New Zealand teen that died of cancer on the second extras disk. Those made me cry too - anyone who gets these DVDs MUST watch those.
Beck and Bleach are two relatively new animes that are both based on long-running mangas. They also both start with the letter B. I'm liking them.
Beck is a 'slice of life' anime about a guy and a rock band - there's lots of 'Engrish F-bombs' dropped in it, it's different . . . actually, the 'F-bombs' don't stay as dominant as in the first few episodes . . . after that, all you can listen to is the ridiculously cool guitar riffs. Oh yeah, there's a messed up patchwork dog in it with the title name for some reason too, and I think it might be important later on.
"Bleach" is about a shinigami who makes a teen guy sort of a substitute shinigami and then they beat up bad ghosts and save good ghosts. It's funny yet sentimental, and the theme song is done by Orange Range, who I'm really starting to like. In any case, it looks like it's gonna be one of those shows that blows up into wildly crazy life-or-death adventure later on, though A-keep's been busy and hasn't been subbing as quickly as Lunar, whose translation I don't like quite as much. Oh yeah, and there's a walking, talking, insane lion plushie too.
And let's not forget our loveable Enpitsu-kamisama Shanny who's sick and currently busy with her own thing right now. Everyone wish for her wellbeing, now!
A'ight dudes, time for me to pretend that I'm getting back to schoolwork. Peace, yo.
