The Craziness! . . . and how it took away my money . . .
So I went to the DVD store to buy "Peace Maker Kurogane" disk 4 . . . . and as I walk in, I look at the "new" shelf . . .
. . . "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Platinum" disk 7 was on the shelf, as was the full series of "Full Metal Panic".
Those two weren't supposed to come out for another three weeks!!!!! Holy crap!!!
Needless to say, I spent a whole lot more money than I wanted to today. Ah well . . . it's good for posterity, y'know. Likewise, I finally own the whole Eva series! This is something I have wanted to do for a few years now . . . and man, it still hasn't sunk in yet (that or I just didn't actually care quite as much as I thought I would . . . meh, all good). The other plus is that I can finally buy "End of Evangelion" without feeling bad about it (y'know, not having the stuff before it and stuff). So yes, I'm swimming in ADV goodness right now . . .
As for the fansub front, I have just decided that "Yakitate Japan!!" is worth checking out. What's it about? A boy who makes bread. No samurai, no demons, no aliens, but bread. But y'know, it works. As it turns out, making bread is much more amazing than you'd expect . . . especially if you have SOLAR HANDS!(TM) like the boy. So yes, those with the power, consider checking out an episode or two, they're kinda funny.
Other than those bits, I dropped a Spider-Man 2 nightlight on my nose while stocking the shelves at Superstore today. I have a little cut on it now. Cute, huh?
