Riiiichmooooond Night Market!!!
So as I type this, I think my stepdad's sister is sleeping in my old room which is now a guest room (crazy how things change, eh?). All I know is that there are extra things in my shower other than the one bar of Irish Spring soap and one bottle of Head & Shoulders (I'm basically using up whatever my brother left behind - I'm cheap like that, yo). Anyway, it should be fun to meet this person, I bet. English people rock, after all.
Ah, so let's see . . . finished "Samurai Champloo", enjoyed it quite a lot. As well, I finally cracked at "Otogi Zoshi" and watched the first couple episodes last morning - seems like a pretty neat show. Cinematography looks good, fights are very old-school, and let's face it, girls with bows rock. Um . . . . I may or may not rewatch that "Lois & Clark" (SUCH a great show) pilot but with the commentary (it's all about the commentaries). Just sayin' . . . and yes, I need to watch "Garden State" before Evil assassinates me (side-thought: for such a violent act, is it ironic or fitting that it starts with two "asses"?).
Umm . . . . . and then . . . oh! I bought figurines that I must now mail off to milady who's deprived of internet these days. I've been meaning to write to her, but y'know, ya gotta send her something nice as well . . . . . so I should get on top of that in the next couple days . . . . . as for all the other correspondence I must take care of, well . . . I need the burner back first. Soon, I promise!
As for the title of the post, the Richmond Night Market, one of the largest (if not THE largest) open air markets in North America. I heard this year the price of CD-Rs has gone down to 100 for $15 . . . and that's Canadian dollars! Granted, half the stuff is probably bootlegged which is bad, but . . . they're gonna have okonomiyaki! It's gonna be great! Anyway, my club's doing another lion dance there, so I'm gonna be there tonight. Should be fun, ne?
[EDIT: Due to fear of rain, the Night Market thing is cancelled . . . again . . . . . dorks.]
