ELEVEN OUT OF FRIGGIN' ELEVEN!!!!!! YES!!!!! Lord of the FRIGGIN' Rings!!! The Friggin' Return of the Friggin' King!!!!!!!
What can I say, I'm a happy boy tonight. Best Picture for my darling movie just made it. It was wonderful . . . . . in fact, I don't even think I can think of anything else to say . . . I shouted out loud in my basement, jumped, and probably swore . . . actually, no, I didn't swear . . . I just shouted like I was having sex, was all.

But yeah, that was good times . . . Billy Crystal was magic, which was great, and we didn't get any Halle-wannabes (phew!). Ah . . . . .
Oh yeah, though I really didn't care about 'em all too much, seeing The Barbarian Invasion win Best Foreign for Canada made me smile . . . if not for anything else but for the opening statement,
"I'm just glad that Lord of the Rings didn't qualify for this category."
What gold . . . . .
But yes, let us raise our glasses this day . . . to the victorious dead! Erm . . . eheh . . . . . to Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, the entire cast, and the people of the island nation of New Zealand! Congratulations, it was far too long in its coming.
