A'ight, so this is what's up . . .
I finished the keyblade! I snuck some time away to work at it last night, didn't get caught doing so, and for the most part it's all done! Maybe a bit of detail or touch-up with the packing tape over the blade end on Saturday . . . . . but for the most part I'm finished! Maybe on Saturday I'll be able to get a cell phone picture of it (and the other two) or something . . . of course I'm still having issues with getting cell phone pictues off the phone, but I'll think of something . . .
I've been watching "Excel Saga" on that "Keiichi" website. I think I may need to buy this show . . .
Just before getting to work I also mailed Molly's gift away. Now, the lady said it'd be four business days, so . . . that means it'll either get there Tuesday or Wednesday, depending if yesterday counts (it was past noon). So again, Molly, if it comes on Tuesday, you CAN'T open it by yourself!
(Though, with international mail and custom forms and stuff, the content and general monetary value of the box is all there to read . . . . . man, I hate those customs stickers . . . . . . . I bet lying on those would be really bad, though . . . dangit . . . you still can't open it by yourself, though!)
Just before leaving the work subject . . . Supervisor-guy scheduled me for Sunday since the other weekend guy would be filling in for my next week shift. How cruel . . . . . guess that means I have to beat him extra hard in that Gundam Seed arcade game on Saturday . . . . . oh yeah, apparently at some arcade near Superstore they have a Gundam Seed arcade game. If I was understanding it correctly, it's basically like those other 3rd-person behind-back view battle-type Gundam arcade games that are out there (the UBC arcade has a couple). Heh . . . "Boromir" is calling it the Battle of New Westminster versus Richmond . . . so it's "Boromir" and I for New West', and supervisor-guy and . . . someone else (I wonder who else'll be playing) for Richmond. Never minding that the last time I tried playing the original "Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs Char" 3 or 4 years ago I got served hard and haven't touched that (or any similar game) since. I have spent a lot of time watching people play the game, though, so who knows . . . . . maybe I'll get lucky . . . I mean, we'll all be noobs pretty much anyway, right?
School-wise . . . I'm extra sad again that I'm gonna miss the last two Harry Potter lectures in Children's Lit'. Oh, funny sidenote: I'm really making a hell of a reputation for myself in that class. Let's see, I've talked about video game adaptations of the "Alice in Wonderland" stories, how blood is bad for swords and that's why it's a big deal to clean them in "Narnia" - furthermore, that the "Narnia" movie had a poor portrayal of battle tactics . . . . . and the other day I compared Voldemort with Skeletor from He-Man . . . . . oh man . . . I suppose . . . . . . as unintellectual as they are, at least there's reasoning behind it? Even though I'm now painted as a huge gaming/war/cartoon geek? Oh man, and just think, we're watching "Spirited Away" at the end, so I'm gonna get all anime-otaku on them . . . . . ohhh man . . .
Chuck Norris can speak braille.
I think that'll do for a Friday post. Have a good day/night, now.
Random SomeGuy Trivia: Whenever I gas up the car, I always try to see if I can let go of the pump and get it to stop directly on $20 (like, in one go, not easing up bit by bit). I do it again for $30. Whether I get it (rarely) or not, I still keep pumping 'til I fill up anyway. Why do I do it? I dunno, I'll take what games I can find in my daily life . . .
