   New Westminster Dominates!!!
In the battle of "Gundam SEED: Federation vs Z.A.F.T." between New Westminster ("Boromir" and myself) versus Richmond (supervisor-guy and . . . . . y'know what? I'm just gonna go with the Gundam SEED names for work people . . . if I can remember them right . . . . so my supervisor is "Shinn" (though he was demoted - he used to be "Athrun"), and the other guy who works under "Boromir" is "Yzak" . . . . . if anyone's wondering, "Boromir" is "Mu La Flaga" and I'm "Dearka" . . . . . where was I? Oh yeah . . .

So yeah, "Boromir" and I playing for our city versus "Shinn" and "Yzak". We lost the first game (fair enough, I'm still getting the hang of this game . . .), felt shame . . . and then watched "Shinn" and "Yzak" playing against the computer - the computer whooped them. At that point "Yzak" shouted "save us!" meaning for us to put money into the machine to challenge them before they got game over . . . . . "Boromir" didn't get the clue and then it was too late - everyone had to pay money again.

Second game, "Boromir" Astray mobile suit; I took too long in picking my mobile suit and ended up with the Launcher Strike variant with the big beam cannon - I freaked out a bit since it was a high-point suit, so if I died the team would be down a lot of health . . . . buuuuut, turns out beam cannons are quite fun in their own right . . . "Boromir" and I won the next two or three matches fairly cleanly. We were quite happy . . . . . and thus, my revenge against "Shinn" for scheduling me in for work today was complete.

At that point we got challenged again by a couple of Raider suit guys . . . . . they were aggressive and strong ("Boromir" and I thought "Shinn" and "Yzak" were pissed off) . . . we lost, though it was close . . . . . and then we realised that we got hustled by some more experienced players while our friend-type people watched. There's no shame in this loss.

Of course, after we got back to Superstore "Boromir" immediately typed up a "Gundam SEED: Federation vs Z.A.F.T." round robin schedule. Seems we're all doing a tournament now every Saturday. A couple of Housewares guys are getting in on it too. Should be fun . . .

In non-work news . . . Chuch Norris always wins Connect Four in six turns or less.

(If you guys still don't get it . . .)

Random SomeGuy Trivia: I have never watched an entire episode of "Walker, Texas Ranger" front to back before.
