Again, I'm not studying . . .
Latin tomorrow . . . should be studying tonight (Wednesday evening as I write, though not anymore). But yeah, languages are tricky, thus, I should REALLY hunker down . . . . . um . . . . . yeah, this isn't working . . .
So let's see . . . people in my house are investing in DVDs like mad right now! Some good, some bad . . . and all distracting. Heh heh heh . . . . . ah, I'm so dead . . .
So yeah, here's what I'm thinkin' . . .
SNL: Best Of . . .: my insane brother buys the disks for Chris Farley, Will Ferrell, AND Mike Myers! How he has all this money, I don't know! but, fun enough disks to kill some time. Will Ferrell is a master, as always.
Master and Commander: Someone bought the fancy collector-ish box with some neat stuff on the second disk (and right now, the spelling of the word "disk" is looking weird to me - strange, huh?). No commentary on the actual movie, so I'm sad . . . . . oh, the movie's insanely cool, by the way. Now, I can see why people wouldn't like it because it is slow a lot of the time and the ending isn't a complete ending per se. But, fact is, ever since watching the Horatio Hornblower movies on A&E, I've rather enjoyed Napoleonic naval stuffs very much. I find the "life" on the ship to be utterly fascinating, so that's where my interest in it lay. On the other hand . . . . .
Timeline: Now, there are two types of people who can watch this movie. The first is the kind who will watch this movie, see its many, many, many faults for what they are, and proceed to go onto the internet and hyperbolize about how it was the worst movie they have ever seen in their lives, and that it wasted 2 hours of the aforementioned lives, etc. etc. etc.. Luckily, I'm not one of those. I'm the kind of person who watches the movie, sees its many, many, many faults for what they are, and laugh because they are indeed many and close in between.
What can I say, I like bad movies almost as much as the good ones. Trebuchets are cool no matter what movie they're in, though . . .
And now, since I still have no interest in studying (I am SO bad with that), I shall finally get around to some pages! See ya then. Sige!
