To my pretty little Cerulean Hawk over the sea . . . . .
Apparently you're called "Mama Bear" now. That's cute.
So yes, Blue Hawk has been around since 2003 as well, and is one of those people whom you adore to watch grow up. Y'know, she was 13 when she first joined up, and from that to almost 16 seems a lot bigger of a jump than I had. But y'know, we have gotten to see you grow a lot. I mean, you're taking care of your entire family right now! Groceries, giving out allowances . . . that's some pretty amazing progress, I must say. Heh, you're probably doing better than I am in that respect.
Regardless of that year you sorta took off, you've always been one of the most attentive, most active members of this community. Being me, I'm pretty bad these days with visiting all my friends online; you, however, practically ALWAYS get around to seeing everyone to drop a word or two. That in itself is very encouraging for the rest of us. Heh . . . even when I got that PM telling me all about how you wanted me to write that anniversary post, you only wanted to do more for the site and the people with it. Some of us may have had our names up in slightly more prestigious places now and then, like at the fanart and stuff, but y'know, you've been the glue holding us together on more than one occasion.
I'll tell you what else. You are still only one of two people at this site who has ever brought me to tears before. I don't know whether this exactly counts as cool or not . . . . but that year or so back, you told us some rather serious news about your health and stuff. Shanny filled me in just before you basically told everyone else . . . and I gotta tell you, at that point I felt really bad that I didn't visit you as much as I could have. It's a shame that that's what it took to make me come to you more often, but that's what happened.
Actually, if there's something cool to say out of all of this, it's that you've stayed optimistic and strong for all of us ever since. I never did ask you what has happened with all of that ever since, and I've always just assumed the best . . . but even if that's not the case, you're still so strong in my eyes that you really do put me to shame sometimes. Nevertheless, you're still one of the strongest girls I've ever come across around these parts.
So yes, Lawin, these are all the reasons why you are cool and deserve all sorts of good things your way.
