I was making ramen noodles for lunch. Very dangerous to make. Somehow I poured boiling water all over my hand. It hurt lots.

Also, I felt like putting my biggest frustration into a story-ish form w/my oc characters cuz its literally how I handle situations in my brain. I ask The Insane Ones for advice. I should so do a comic for it...

"DAMMIT!" I try to attack computer viciously, but fail because Ryan and Tobias hold me back

"Please don't do it! Violence isn't the answer!"

"Sure it is. I just wanna take a swing at it first..."

I continue to flail wildly, but wear out quickly and collapse.

While Tobias consoles me("Calm down, please!"), Ryan goes through the same process I had just gone through:
Double-click shortcut
Repeat
Repeat
Go through start menu and click link
Repeat
Right-click shorcut, go to properties, find target, and double-click link
...
Wildly multi-click on shortcut
...
Repeat
...
Restart computer
Start at first step

What had I been trying to do?

Won't go into major details, but after a couple hours (and going through that process too...) my mother was able to restore it. However...

All my favorites...gone. Every link I had saved. Gone. Gone. Just Gone.

Inhale.
Exhale.
Van happily ducks as stapler flies across room.

Ryan raises eyebrow "...That sucks."

"Gee. Ya think?" Glare. Log into the O to check updates. "Hey, chaosbutterfly updated! Humor would be good right now..."

Go to fanfic site and read new chapter.

"That was a good stapler..."

Now, normally, I copy paste onto a document so I can read even if I'm offline. But...

"...Hey, it says you can't edit the document because it has expired." Yes Ryan, I can read.

"Why not make a new document and copy paste all the old work onto a new sheet?" I'm so glad your smart, Tobias.

Try.

"I...I can't even type one lousy letter. The entire program has expired..."

"So 'stead of Microsoft Word, copy t'all onto Notepad." Whoa. Ryan had a brilliant idea? "... What the f*** is that look for??"

"Nothing."

Try.

"... I CAN'T EVEN COPY ANY TEXT FROM THE PROGRAM ITSELF!?"

"Shit."

"Awww... Its ok! I'm sure it's fixable!" Tobias assures me as I'm reduced to tears. "At least you can get on the Otaku! Yeah??"

Glomp.

After being silent the whole time, Van finally snuck up behind me and Glomped me. Damn.

Ryan looks steamed. "Tch. Better you than me."

"What are you--?"

"S'all good. You were planing to clean out your favorites soon anyway, right? You know the important ones by heart, a few you can find by Google or Ask, and a few others you can ask your friends for links to. Everything else were pics that are already saved on your computer or sites you don't look at anymore. Clean slate, right?" He gives me a strange smile from over my shoulder.

"...Yeah..."

"Y'know he just pretty much just called ya a pack-rat, right?"

Van gasps. "I said nothing of the sort! You're just J E A L O U S 'cuz I'm hugging H E R and not Y O U !" Hugs tighter.

Ryan looks... furiously annoyed "AM NOT!"

"Oh, Ryan, that makes me so HAPPY!" Sparkly glomp onto Ryan.

"GET OFF!!"

"NEVAH!" Sparkly

As I start going to sites, Tobias suggests nervously "Perhaps a hug from a real person with no ulterior motives would be good for you?"

"...Yeah." I reply as I turn to see Ryan trying to kill a thoroughly pleased Van ("Ohmagawd, Love Taps!" "SHUT UP AND DIE!")

Ah. I feel better. Its been a... Lovely month. Plus I can so make that a chapter ^___^

Anyway, that's all for now. After a couple days of recovering info n stuff, I'll have time to post some new stuff ^_^

Btw, Ryan was not upset that Van had hugged me. He was upset cuz he realized that Van was still there XD

And I also use Microsoft word for my scripts...Thats what caused the most panic...Dead scripts... -_-;
