   D.P.E.
Double Platinum Entertainment is the record lable started byPreston Robinson III and KING James II. They released numerous undrground mixtapes on and around the campus of their school(Jackson State University) and have becom a big hit on the local radio stations. KING James is a St. Louis native who grew up in Berkley off of Airport Rd. He is the third of six siblings and will be the second of them to graduate college this May.
His youngest brother, who has always looked up to him, seems to be following in his footsteps by building his reputatin through freestyle battles against other M.C.'s. Taking on the title of KING and created his altor ego KING Jerermiah III. Though he has yet to release an album on D.P.E. or Real Life Records (a side-lable of D.P.E. Owned primarily by his brother's KING and Paign) he says that when he does it will go 10x platinum its first month.
"I'm gonna be the hottest rapper out their." said Jeremiah in a recent interview with his old highschool's newspaper. "There is no doubt in my mind that the first album released by Real Life, D.P.E., and myself will blow all the other artists out of the water! Its like hip hop is in my blood, I eat, sleep, drink, and think hip hop all day and night."
When he was asked who his favorite artist of the past or preasent is he responded by saying, "Micheal Jackson, plain and simple. I men, here is a man who's career has spanned since before I was born and he's still considered the greatest! Thats how I wanna be."
