Wow! Two in a row

OK.. so I was feeling good and we had some form of "media gathering" today. So I made a new wallpaper based on a really cool anime... Gun X Sword (actually pronounced "Gun Sword" but oh well). So anyway... it's some good stuff.

In other news... I broke one record today and almost broke a second one as well. My computer room is very small... really it shouldnt' have more than one person in it at a time... and my desk takes up about a fifth of the room too. We crammed 5 computers into it today! The record is 6 so far (3 desktops with monitors, and 3 laptops). So the five we had today only broke one record. We had 4 desktops with monitors and one laptop (mine, hehe).

Oh, as an added note.. I remembered that I'm also reading the "Kingdom Hearts" manga... ok I know he does it anyway... but reading Donald Duck swearing is just... umm... dissapointing or something I guess... I dunno.

Something new.. oh yeah.. I have no life

Ok, so I have no life... you'd think this would leave me time to do cool stuff right? Yes and no. It's odd really.. some people think that if it weren't for sleep we'd have more time in the day... Thsi is not true... I'm a hyper-active, energetic, Insomniac... i.e. Out of a 24 hours day I can use up between 18-23 of them (probably 24 but then that'd just be a whole day) and keep going. (I've done it before). You'd think that with all this extra time I'd have plenty to do stuff... alas I don't... partly 'cause I end up getting lost in my music and partly because I have a wavering attention span... sometimes I can focus on one thing forever and then sometimes I'm listening to a lecture about Transistors and find myself re-watching an entire episode of Star Trek (I'm not a trekkie so this one made no sense) in my head and I've missed like 5 minutes of lecture...

Anyway.. all that aside... despite my lack of "time" (I'm a time smith... I make it) I have created a brand new wallpaper. I've been thinking abotu a new article... and I am pretty much required to write one by the end of next week so be hoping for one (and praying that I can get it written, lol). So hopefully by the end of next week I'll have more new stuff and not just "Fluff" and "talk."

Current Anime watching: RaXephon, Gun X Sword
Current Manga: Kenshin, R.O.D. (both of these are going slowly... cash probs)

Awsm

Ok, I know I haven't done anything except talk for quite some time now (I've tried but failed). So now all I have is to talk for a bit again.

I'm going to try and make either a new wallpaper or an article over the weekend. I have an idea for the article (hehe... need to write one anyway.. [a href="http://www.thesonicworld.net"]TSW needs a new THT article soon and that's my job anyway.[/a href] ) So hopefully I should be posting something new this weekend.. unless I am... "delayed."

Here are some reason why I would be delayed:
A) Started watching Gun X Sword (amazing show... best thing I've seen in a while).
B) Must complete two AC/DC labs on Resonance
C) Must keep studying for the A+ OS test
D) May be gone to the "city" with a friend to get oil in his car.
E) Might be playing Guild Wars (I mean c'mon... my character is so awsm I was able to whup even myself in less than ten seconds without losing half my health! Take that inferior Doppleganger!)

Anyway.. new stuff should be arriving soon.

Edit: Forgot to say! I breached the 3K mark I'm now below it and that much closer to being in the top 500! Oh yeah! Plus... I'm a Senior Otaku now... yes my Geekness is astounding!

Double Edit: By Grapthar's Hammer! This is awsm! I tried resubmitting that one wallpaper I tried for so long and guess what I just found out! Based upon my previous submissions it was auto accepted! This is the key I've been looking for! I now understand! Those other people with so many wallpapers at one time? They'd already been approved like this! This makes so much sense it's beyond comprehension! Dulce!

Awsm and Evil

Hey, sorry I still haven't done anythign new... things are hectic and I'm lazy. The past two weeks we've been celebrating [a href="http://www.thesonicworld.net]TSW's[/a href] birthday.

Anyway, on to what I wanted to say (I try to avoid talkign abotu non-anime and video game stuff... but oh well).

I watched the Indy 500 today... and I mus say that was the best ending to any F1 race I've ever seen! The other endings I've seen stopped under a yellow flag... boring. Personally the only reason I watch the Indy 500 (when I can) is becaus eI like F1 races and it's a "famous course." I do not like the fact that it's just a big oval though. The ending was amazing though! I've been geeking out about it all day long!
Ok.. here's where the evil goes in though... You have this massive ****SPOILER*** Close cut race between Sam [can't remember name] Jr. and Marco Andretti, followed by Michael Andretti. A very close thing... something that should be spoken of for ages! I mean c'mon! Supposedly that was teh second closest ending to the Indy 500 ever! And Marco is a rookie! But who do they want to talk about? Danika... first girl to race... I have one thing to say about this...

WHO CARES?!!! So she's a girl... so what? If we're equal then what's the big deal? I hate it when the media does this (Note: I have no problem with her... she seemed a bit arrogant but hey, I would (read: AM) too. I'm just ticked off at the media). If you want equality then do me a favor and treat everyoen equally. They did this last year... she raced as a rookie and ended up in fifth... fifth I tell you... yeah that's cool and all... In fact I'm glad she started out that good. But I want to see the first place finisher! I want to watch him get the celebratory bottle of milk, take a swig and then douse himself with it! Let me watch the titan of the race... not have to sit through the Media's "equality" by broadcasting about someone who didn't even place in the top 3... I'm sorry if people feel they need to flame me for this... I'm not discriminatory... I get whupped by girls all the time, I get beat by guys all the time... I beat both boys and girls all the time... that's life. There are those who are better than me and those I'm better than... would someone please tell the US to stop celebrating Mediocrity and trying to institute "Fairness" by removing the glory from those who deserve it. If I want to see Danika I'll go download a picture blast it... let me see the winner!

In summation... just because she's a girl she gets publicity... if Danika had won first and they chose to talk to Marco Andretti (and he had made 8th like she did) people would throw a fit... that's not justice and it's not fairness...

Ok... excuse the rant... but the awsm ending to and awsm race was spoiled by this blatant disregard for my rights to justice and true equality... consider me ticked off... I'm gonna go play Guild Wars or something now... Flame me if you must... hey maybe it'll increase my "popularity" ticking people off seems to do that really well...

Brainstorm

I just got an amazing idea! Maybe they just didn't like my wallpaper. It really could be that simple! Wow! [insert]arrogant remark[/insert]!

Anyway, with this done now I'm going to try and make another wlalpaper with a different idea. I'll still try to get this one up every now and then...

On another note... I was shuffling through my old Sonic Comics when I realized something cool. I really liked the old Sonic SatAm series that came on ABC a looong time ago. Well it ended suddenly at the end of season two (didn't know this... was overseas, lol). Ended with a really big cliffhangar too. When we came back stateside for a bit we found some comic books (1 Sonic and 1 Knuckles). Coincidentally the first Sonic comic we got was #50 which was almost the same as the last episode of Sonic SatAm... so I was happy. Anyway, that was my first comic I got. I was re-reading a bunch of the comics the other day (I have them all, lol) and I flipped through the director's cut of that comic book. That was when I realized (consciously) that my favorite, and the best, comic was #50! If you can find it I woudl suggest reading it. Maybe I'll try to upload a copy of the Director's Cut somewhere for those who are interested but it is really good! Amazing... coincidences...

*Light turn on noise*

I think I finally figured it out... the wallpapers are uploaded by two different people.

Ok... here's my idea... one person is a button spammer. In other words he sees the wallpapers and hits the "Accept" button as fast as he can to make people happy and get done quicker (I understand this person.... it's how I do it too... or at least how I delete spam off forums, lol).

The second guy is like Birdman from that one commercial. He's constatly showing off his pet bird. A wallpaper is put into the qeue (sp?) and he doesn't notice it. At this point he's showing off his bird training talents and tells the bird to (as they said in the commercial) "Get BirdMan Coffee." At which point the bird presses the wrong button and my wallpaper is deleted.

I'm rather sure my timing is just to the point where it's always my wallpaper vs the intelligence of the bird... maybe not but it makes my ego feel better.

Oh yeh... I tried re-uploading the wallpaper again... let's hope I don't go up agains the bird again.

RE: Weeeeeeeeeeeee.

In regards to the above... "We won't say oui to the Wii." (I shall continue to call it the Revolution or the Nintendo "Why" from here on out).

Anyway, I guess people have begun to wonder why I've done "nothing" recently. The truth is... I have done something. I made a wallpaper... with my cool water effect... but The Otaku keeps rejecting it for some odd reason. I've yet to figure out what form of standard has been set for which wallpapers make it and which ones do not. So the amazingly (ego pat here) awsm wallpaper I made is not available for download yet. For which I am truely sorry.

As for why nothing else has been done... a few simple reasons. A) I'm back at summer semester... this is the end of week two and I'm already behind (I'm so lazy, lol... if I don't do it quick it takes forever to get done aye?).

B) I have a million other things that need doing that I haven't done... liek practicing Japanese, practicing Guitar, practicing my amateur voice acting Skillz, etc.

So one day there will be new things! There will be cool things! Teh land will be green and free again! Soon everyone shall return to their homes1 This city shall become a land of light and music once again! The tales of our exploits will reach far and wide and 'cause freedom to ring once again through the world! We will throw down the Tyranical peo---...

Sorry, I'm still reeling from teh 4-5 hour homework lesson I did... 15 questions... I'm still not sure if I shoudl cry or do backflips...

Ok, so I made a new wallpaper using Photoshop. it's not the best one I've made... but that water is mine! I made it! It's mine! Mine to hold! Mine I tell you!

Anyway... that aside. I'm hoping to get better with this program. Don't know if I will or not but oh well.

A Sad Page

Ok, that article seems to have bombed. Dunno why or how, just that has. Well.. maybe not... one bad vote out of 5 isn't too bad I guess. I have but one wish... that I knew what I do wrong when I do something wrong. I admit I'm a shameless egotist... but I don't crave compliments. I just wish I knew what I was doing wrong. 'Tis hard for a hedgehog to improve when he doesn't know what's going wrong.


Anyway, that aside. I now prep myself for what begins in 8 and a half hours... I shall then begin my third semester of college... ahh to wield a circuit board once again like Tails in his workshop. Bring it on teachers! Show me what you've got!
