Lots of pavement 'neath the Sneaks

Ok... so I spent the last two days travelling between where I live (middle of nowhere) and the Metroplex. Clearing somewhere over 500 miles of pavement within the space of less than two days. Awsm stuff aye?

Anyway... (I use that word a lot don't I?)... My article is up. I'd like to be more excited about it... but alas... I cannot. It's kind of sad for me to read (even though I wrote it and it has no bearing on my life). But enjoy, if you can.

Competition

Ahh.. my life is full of competitions right now. At the moment the main one on my mind is that of "Top Sonic Wallpaper". Sure it's not that important.... but Spacmace... if you're listening (reading) then I'm watching your wallpaper. Every time I get a download you have one as well... I am consecutively stayign 5 downloads behind you and I know not why! Pull ahead or fall behind... do something... let the balance change in some way!

That aside... there is also a Fire Emblem competition going on in my mind... sort of... Only one more Ike wallpaper is left to pass before mine is highest rated Ike wallpaper... but CecilTactition's wallpaper is rated third with Heath... maybe it's the quote and mayeb it's the fact that they guy has green hair with a white stripe and rides a Wyvern....

Thirdly... I'm in the middle of a new GFX competiton on TSW. I've never seen what work my opponent has done and so it's surprising to me... but for those who are interested... here's how you can see the work I did and that which he/she did. Mine is, of course, the one doen by WSonic (hence my secondary name). If you woudl be so kind... lemme know who you'll think will win... I do not know myself.

Competitions aside (man this is a long post...)... I recently finished watching Samurai 7... good story... well worth the watch I think. Would have been better if they'd at least left out one major word (nice if they'd left out a few others...). *Sigh* but no, always with this one word. So now I must find a way to edit that single episode so I may keep it... alas and alas and alas... Aside from that it was full of action and intrigue (which I always like).

Well... I hve new stuff submitted... namely an article which I hope will be up soon. Dunno but who knows?

Stormwind... the chasers....

Ack... my parents wouldn't let me stay! We had a major storm warning here today! (For those who don't know... where I live there's rarely a "shower" warning). Supposedly a tornado even touched down! But my parents made me pack up my laptop and stuff and we shipped out to the nearest town that wasn't in the path of the storm. Oh well.. I at least got to spend a little bit of time scanning the live dopplar radar. I got to see some cool weather mapping for the area... but all we got was water... and lots of it. The road in front of my house was almost completely covered! Oh yeah!

On another note... to those whom I've listed in my friends list... sorry for not commenting on stuff so far... I've realized my net connection is no excuse to not just cruise, lol. I'm gonna try to do better than I have been and do some more cruising... so if you people can keep pumping out material I'll try to keep up and comment as best I'm able.

Third note: I watched the movie "Serenity" today. Really good. I haven't enjoyed a Sci-Fi movie like that since I saw the original "Star Wars" (yeah, it could've used less... hmm... "references" and language... but oh well... so could 95% percent of movies). If I can ever get a clean version (or DVD cleaner) I probably will get the movie... was fun to watch at least once though.

The Tides move

The ocean is used to signify many things. Symbologically it represents the field of battle. One tide can move in one way but when it shifts it can be for either good or bad. And such is the way in which my life progresses. I am the wave upon the tide. My life moves with the current and adapts to what forms around me. I contain a form yet I am shapeless. My life has the strength to destroy the strongest of things yet can be adjust by the movement of a gentle breeze. This same breeze can unleash a tyrannical force if it become sstrong enough. Such is life, an ocean of tides and changes.

In addition... the tides have changed once again... in celebration of my last tests arriving tomorrow... my aims have shifted and I have created a new wallpaper. In honor of teh strength and moving form of one of the greatest pilots. What it arrives it will be astounding (Okay... maybe not... but still... at least let me build up my ego a little).

News!

Aye.. nothing new except news again. I'm sorry for the lack of newness or really for typing things in an interesting way...

Enough doom and gloom! I picked up Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children today! Yes it came out today! No I didn't have to pre-reserve (my town is sorry like that, lol). I have yet to watch it as I recently returned home but still... I have it! I mean... I've already seen it and such but now I have the official American version... which includes the original Japanese with or without subs! (ok... so maybe part of the reason I got it was because of guilt... and partly 'cause Hastings gave me two free rentals if I did it... but so what?) Soon I shall watch and see if it's awsm!


On another note.... I passed the Hardware portion of the CompTIA A+ exams! I'm not certified on hardware!! OH yeah! This is awsm! (blast... so awsm I can't even type it correctly...)

So until later... should have something new again soon.

It's an Update! No, it's an Apology! No it's... umm... nothing

What's this? I still live? Yes... Sorry I've done but one thing in the past two or three weeks. It can't be helped. If anything gets done this week it will happen probably after Wednesday. Mainly 'cause I have my two A+ tests to take, a lab presentation due, and a lab final. If I fail either of my lab finals I then have to take the written exams... so yeah, I'm pretty bummed out at the moment.

Normally I don't talk about what I do in life but hey, knowing what I'm up against is no problem eh?

On another note... Alas... I've discovered that it will be nigh impossible to see every facet of .Hack//.... not because it's impossible to do but because it'd cost me too much. I've no money (a recurring problem with many fans I've noticed) and I still need to buy Advent Children and Guild Wars Factions. Not to mention that I'd need a PS2 (or 3...) to get the full effect. If someone could direct me to the nearest random encoounter I would be very much obliged...

Teh Breeze that blows Time...

Bah... what breeze? Life consists of strong gusts... gusts that move one at unspeakable paces! And I love every second of it!

Alas, I know that I said I would be gone for a time... I still am... but in my absence I was suddenly hit with an idea (and a need to attempt using Photoshop). My Photoshop attempt failed so I switched back to default and created a new wallpaper... would that it will upload.

In addition... I picked up and read all three .Hack//Legend of the Twilight Manga Volumes the other day. Interesting story... really makes me wish I had a PS2 so I could play the games (and then find some way to get my hands on the anime).

Alas... back to prepping my mind for the gusts of life... before the currents of schooling destroy me through exams and unfinished projects.

Sadly, I have been unable to create anything new. I probably will nto get anything done for the next two weeks either. I'll think about it... but RL is really trying to whup me right now and it's all I can do to evade the attacks being rained down upon me. So I'll see you guys later.

Ok... so I'm lazy... sort of... maybe....

Meh.. I haven't really created anything new for the Otaku... (school is seeing to that quite nicely). In fact two of my most recently "upped" wallpapers were made from a couple months to a couple weeks ago.

Yes!

Ahh yes! They finally accepted my Sonic
wallpaper! I feel so good now. Kind of surprised or something.

On a side note... in addition to working on finishing up my work for the semester (so many labs..........) I've started watchign Samurai 7. Awsm so far... although I've only seen the first 3 episodes I hope this is great all the way through!
