   Second Chapter of Innocent Love

Innocent Love

Story By Sora Hanaki

Vol 1: Memories

Chapter 2: A New Beginning

Miaka placed the picture frame back down on her dresser.
"I hope I can see him again and return his hankerchief," she said to herself.
Hi there. My name is Miaka Kuroda. I am fifteen years old and I am starting high school. I live in Saitama with my mother, my father, my older sister Saeko, and my older brother Ken. Oh! And my cat Yuri, I can't forget her. My family owns a dancing school and many members of my family are talented dancers. This is what my family is famous for.
The door to her room opened. A man peaked his head in.
"Are done packing yet?" He asked her.
"Hey Ken," she said. She stuffed the rest of her clothes into her suitcases.
"Yeah... now I'm done," said Miaka.
"Come on, I'm driving you to Tokyo," said Ken.
He shut the door behind him as he left.
"Coming," she grabbed her suitcases and bags.
"Wait for me, Nii-san," said Miaka. She followed him to the car.
That's my brother Ken, he's twenty-one years old; six years older than me. He's a really sweet guy and he can be really forgetful.
"Here..." he grabbed her suitcases and bags and placed them in the trunk.
"... you can get in the car," he said to Miaka.
"Miaka!" a girl called out her name from behind her. Miaka turned around.
"Guys!," she was surprised that her friends were here.
"What are you all doing here?" she asked.
"To see you off," one of her friends said.
"Why else?" said another friend.
"Yeah!" said all of Miaka's friends.
"You guys... thank you. I'll miss all of you," she said to them.
"So, are you really going to Tokyo?" asked her friend.
"Yeah," said Miaka.
"Just for the elite high school," said one of Miaka's friends.
"Tokuda High School Academy, right?" said another one of her friend.
"Right,"
"But aren't you going to miss Saitama, your home?" asked a friend.
"Of course! And all of you!" Miaka exclaimed. She opened the car door.
"Miaka!" A woman was running towards her with a black cat in her arms.
"Nee-san!" said Miaka.
"Oh! Yuri! I can't believe I forgot her," said Miaka. The woman handed the cat to her.
"Yuri," she petted her cat.
"You couldn't forget Yuri," said her older sister.
"Thanks Saeko," said Miaka. Saeko hugged Miaka.
This is my older sister Saeko, older than me by nine years. She's is a dancer teacher and very famous for her dancing. And she's very beautiful.
"Take care now," said Saeko.
"I will," said Miaka. She walked to the car and placed Yuri into her cage.
"Okay. Well, I'm off now," said Miaka.
"Bye!" said all of her friends. Miaka got into the car.
"Ready to go?" Ken asked Miaka.
"Yeah," said Miaka. Ken started the car and began to drive off, Miaka turned around and waved back to her friends.
"Bye," she said to the people she was leaving behind.

Ken drove Miaka from Saitama to Tokyo. They arrived at the apartment in a couple of hours.
"Well, here we are," said Ken as he parked the car.
"Wow! I'm actually going to live in Tokyo," she couldn't believe her eyes.
"You and Yuri," said Ken.
"Yes. I can't wait to see my new school," said Miaka.
"Be careful," said Ken.
"Huh?" Miaka cocked her head to the right with a confused look.
"You're gonna be all by yourself," said Ken.
"I know," said Miaka. "I'll be all right."
"Let's go take a look," said Ken.
"Oh, okay," said Miaka. They got out of the car and took her stuff out of the trunk.
"Ugh," she picked up her bag and pulled a suitcase up onto the sidewalk.
"Let's go," said Ken. They entered the apartment building and took the elevator to the floor her apartment was at.
"Right here. Apartment 294," said Miaka. She took out her key and opened the door to her apartment.
"Wow," said Miaka.
"It's really nice," said Ken.
"Yes," said Miaka. She put her bags down and Yuri.
"The view of Tokyo Tower is very nice," said Ken.
"Really?" asked Miaka. She walked over to Ken and looked out the window.
"It's so pretty," said Miaka.
"Will you be okay?" asked Ken.
"Huh? said Miaka.
"Here by yourself," said Ken.
"Yes," she smiled.
"Okay, I've gotta get back home as soon as possible," said Ken.
"Okay," said Miaka.
"Okay, bye," said Ken and he hugged Miaka.
"Bye," said Miaka.
Ken left and closed the door behind him. She walked to the window and looked at Ken while he drove off.
"Yuri," she picked Yuri up. "Let's go get something to eat."
She reached into her bag and pulled out a packed lunch and cat food.
"Here you go," she put the cat food on a plate, then placed it on the floor and put Yuri down in front of her food.
"Let's eat," said Miaka and then they both eat their lunches.

After a couple of hours, Miaka started putting her stuff away.
"Gosh, it's really tiring," she took in deep breathes.
Yuri meowed.
"I'm done," Miaka sighed.
"It's getting really late. Tomorrow's the first day of school. Tokuda High School. And hopefully, I'll make lots of new friends. Let's go to bed, Yuri," she picked up Yuri and placed her on her bed, she changed into pajamas and tucked herself in bed.
"Good-night," said Miaka.
Yuri meowed softly.

   First Chapter of Innocent Love

Innocent Love

Story by Sora Hanaki

Vol. 1: Memories

"I really want to see him again," a girl said as she looked at a photo of two little boys and a little girl. She stared at the little boy with the great big smile and his black hair that stood out. She turned it over, the little handwriting said: My new friends, Masaki and Haru, may we always remember each other. "Masaki-kun..."

Chapter 1: Lost in the Past

A memory of the past...
"Mommy..." a little girl tugged on her mother's skirt. Her gray eyes looked into her mother's eyes."... I wanna go to the park."
"Okay Miaka..." her mother agreed with her. "Ken, can you take your little sister to the nearby park," she asked her son.
"Aw, but I wanted to go to the store with Dad," Ken complained.
His little sister, Miaka, started to break into tears and sniffling.
"Okay," Ken agreed. "I'll take you to the park," he held her hand in his.
"Yay!" she smiled.

Ken and Miaka left the hotel, hand in hand. They walked down a couple of blocks to the nearest park. As they arrived at the park, Miak ran to the swings.
"Okay, Miaka, now your at the park..." said Ken.
"Onii-chan," Miaka called out to her older brother. "Push me!" she said.
"No Miaka," Ken shook his head at her. "I've got to go somewhere else..."
Ken turned around and began to walk towards the exit of the park with his hands in his pocket.
"Onii-chan..." Miaka softly called out for her brother. She sat there continuing to swing slowly on her swing. Her hair, mahogany and in pig tails, flowed in the wind.
After a while, she got sick of swing by herself and headed for the slide. Miaka played all by herself on the playground. Waiting for her brother to return. She looked up into the sky.
"Where'd you go, Onii-chan...?" she asked quietly.
Miaka slided down the little slide and ran back up onto the platform where the slide was. As she started climbing the steps of the platform of the playground, she tripped up one of the tiny steps.
"Ah!" She screamed as she fell to her knees. She sat up and looked at her knees, her right knee was all scraped up.
"Ow," tears began to flow in her eyes and she tried to hold back the pain she held. She began to cry and wipe her tears away.
"Onii-chan..." again, she called out for her brother to help her. She wiped her tears away using the palm of her hands.
"Here..." Miaka looked up. It was a little boy about her age. He had short, black hair and brown eyes. He reminded her of Ken a bit. He handed her a hankerchief to wipe her eyes. She slowly took it and wiped her tears, then she looked back up at him.
"Are you okay?" he asked her.
"No," said Miaka quietly.
"What's the wrong?" he asked her another question.
"I tripped and hurt myself," she pointed to her knee.
"Here..." he placed his hand out for her, Miaka grabbed his hand and he pulled her up.
"Let's see," he looked at her injury. "Where does it hurt?"
"Here..." she pointed to the scrap on her right knee. She looked at her knee, the boy took out another hankerchief and tied it around her knee.
"Thank you," she said smiling.
"Do you feel better?" he asked.
"Yes, much better," she said cheerfully. "Um... what's your name?"
"My name is Masaki," he said in a properly. "What is your name?"
"I'm Miaka, nice to meet you, Masaki," she said.
"Nice to meet you too, Miaka," he said with a smile.
"Do you want to play with me?" she asked him.
"Sure," he said.
They played around the playground together, swinging on the swings, going down slides, and many other attractions.

Suddenly, a car pulled up to the curb at the park. It looked like a rich car for the slick black car was a expensive brand of cars.
"Master Masaki, there you are," a man got out of the car. He looked like a caretaker. The door of the back seat opened.
"Masaki, Mom and Dad are worried about you.
"Big Brother! Soji!" Masaki called out to them.
"Master Haru wanted to come out and find you personally," said the Soji the Butler.
"Yes...," Masaki's older brother said quietly. He looked a lot different than Masaki, like Miaka and Ken. Haru had blonde hair that looked nicely with his green eyes.
"Haru, do I have to go home now?" Masaki asked Haru.
"Yes, it's getting late," said Haru. Masaki turned towards Miaka.
"I've gotta go now..." he said to her.
"Really...?" She was a little disappointed that her new friend was leaving. Haru walked up to Masaki and Miaka.
"And who are you?" Haru asked Miaka.
"I'm Miaka..." she replied.
"Do you know how to get home?" Masaki asked Miaka.
"No," she replied to his question.
"Why not?" asked Haru.
"Onii-chan brought me here and I don't know how to get back," she said to them.
"It's getting really late..." he looked at his watch, then looked back up at her. "He must be irresponsible or something."
"Do you need a ride home?" asked Masaki.
"Mommy told me not to go with strangers..." she replied.
"But were friends, right?" Masaki said with a smile.
"Yes... okay," she smiled. "I am friends with Masaki and Haru." Haru blushed.
"Where do you live?" Haru asked Miaka.
"I live in Saitama..." said Miaka.
"So you're here on vacation?" said Haru.
"Yes," said Miaka.
"Is your hotel near here?" asked Haru.
"Yes," she said.
"Then we'll take you there," said Masaki. Miaka smiled.

Miaka got in the car with Masaki and Haru and headed towards the hotel. On their way to the hotel, Miaka looked out the window and something caught her eyes.
"Lookie!" she pointed to the photobooth. "A photobooth."
"Yes, it is," said Masaki. "Do you want to take pictures of us together?"
"Yes!" Miaka said with a big smile.
"All right," said Haru. "Soji, turn around and stop at that photobooth back there."
"Yes Master Haru," Soji turned the car around and parked near the curb. Masaki and Miaka got out of the car and ran to the photobooth. Masaki slipped in some yens and they choosed a frame for the photos. Haru stood outside of the booth. Flashes went off and Masaki and Miaka posed for the camera, then Miaka noticed Haru standing out there alone.
"Haru, come take a photo with us," Miaka pulled Haru into the booth by his arm. He blushed as she pulled him in. They all posed for the camera. The turn ended and they all got out of the booth with the photos in their hands.
"Miaka, you keep those," said Masaki as he pointed to her photos. "We'll keep these," he pointed the the other set of photos.
"Okay," she smiled.
"Now," said Haru. "Let's take you back to your parents, Miaka."
"Okay," she followed them to the car.

They all got back into the car rode to the hotel Miaka's family was staying in. Soji escorted Haru, Masaki, and Miaka into the hotel and lead them up to Miaka's room.
"Is this the place?" asked Haru?
"Yes," said Miaka.
"I'll take you to your family," said Haru.
"Um..." Miaka turned to face Masaki. She pulled the hankerchief out of her pocket.
"Here," she handed back the hankerchief she had wiped her tears with.
"Thank you. You can keep the other one though, for your knee," he said to her.
"Then you can have this," Miaka said to Masaki. She took her ribbon off her pigtail and gave it to Masaki.
"Thank you," said Masaki.
"And here," Miaka took off her other ribbon and handed it to Haru.
"So that you guys will remember me," Miaka smiled.
"Oh," Haru reached into his pocket and pulled out a little silver key. "This belonged to something, but I had forgotten what it was so you can have it."
"Thank you Haru," she smiled.
"Come on, let's go," said Haru.
"Um, this is my last day here... we're leaving tomorrow," said Miaka.
"Oh," Masaki looked depressed.
"So, good-bye," she said to both of them, she hugged Masaki then Haru.
"Good-bye," said Masaki as he received the hug.
"Good-bye," said Haru.
Haru walked Miaka to the door of her room, then he knocked on the door.
"Yes, how may I help you?" Miaka's father looked stressed and depressed.
"Daddy!" Miaka ran up to her father.
"Miaka!" he opened his arms and held her.
"Miaka! Where is she?" her mother ran up to the door.
"Mommy!" she got out of her father's arms and hugged her mother.
"How can I thank you?" said Miaka's father.
"You can watch over her better," said Haru, he turned around and walked down the hallway.
"Bye..." Miaka said to Haru as he was about to turn the corner.
"Bye," Haru turned the corner and left.

   New Background Song!

Life Is Like A Boat

By Rie Fu

Nobody knows who I really am
I never felt this empty before
And if I ever need someone to come along,
Who's gonna comfort me, and keep me strong?

We are all rowing the boat of fate
The waves keep on coming and we can't escape
But if we ever get lost on our way
The waves would guide you through another day

dooku de iki o shiteru toomei ni natta mitai
kudayami ni omoe dakedo mekaku shisarete tadake

inori o sasagete atarashii hi o matsu
asayaka ni hikaru umi sono hate made

Nobody knows who I really am
Maybe they just don't give a damn
But if I ever need someone to come along
I know you would follow me, and keep me strong

hito no kokoro wa utsuriyuku mukedashiteku naru
tsuki wa mada atarashii shuuki de mune o tsureteku

And every time I see your face
The ocean heaves up to my heart
You make me wanna strain at the oars, and soon
I can see the shore

Oh, I can see the shore
When will I see the shore?

I want you to know who I really am
I never thought I'd feel this way towards you
And if you ever need someone to come along,
I will follow you, and keep you strong

tabi wa mada tsuzuiteku odayakana hi mo
tsuki wa mata atarashii shuuki de ume o terashidasu

inori o sasagete atarashii hi o matsu
asayaka ni hikaru umi sono hate made

And every time I see your face
The ocean heaves up to my heart
You make me wanna strain at the oars, and soon
I can see the shore

Unmei no huneoko gi nami wa tsugi kara tsuki e to watashi-tachi o sou kedo
Sore mo suteki na tabi ne, dore mo suteki na tabi ne

   New Theme

I felt like I wanted something other than the red and black colors for my site. So I felt like putting in a cool image. This month's theme is Godchild. I thought this would be good for this Halloween time because it's a gothic and horror manga. Perfect for Halloween ^-^ No stealing the image!
