A poem-like story I wrote a while ago...

~Starlight In Your Heart~

The glowing moon casts its bright light on the dark-wine lake, like the shade of a maiden's lips colored by crimson roses. Stars dance around the midnight sky with their dust falling from the heavens like glossy glow dripping fron the stars to form tear drops shedding from the crystal eyes; eyes like the jewel on her neck. Play the lovely flute, dark maiden, and soar like the eternal winds.
"I am the shadow of the night," she whispers like a reed singing a harmony. "The maiden of darkness is what I am known for..." Her tender lips kissed the silver blade in her hands. "To cast my sword, my beloved blade, away from me is like shattered glass slicing your ivory skin. As for that, your death sit in my hands."
"From death comes life, the magic of rebirth," a young maiden swooped over her shoulder of the maiden of darkness. "Light comes from the dark. Like I am the maiden of light..." She looks up into the night sky. "Like the stars above... bringing us, maidens of light and dark, in their shining glow, casting us in the heavens above. To you my sister, there is more starlight in your heart..." the voices whispering in the wind.
The winds are gentle and sweet tonight, but they, sisters of light and dark, cannot sleep. For they will travel til their hearts contend, but they will never find the promise that was made to them. The one they love the most is within the stars...
"Sister of darkness, how can your dark heart yearn for sweet revenge? The revenge for your beloved blade that rests in your smooth hands, the hands like an angel with her white wings." The maiden of light stared at her sister with a look of concern.
"Sister of light, my heart is filled with the rage and anger. But you, sweet sister of mine, are the light that keeps my heart going on like a gracious swan flapping its feathery wings to take its first flight. How can your sweet heart look for the promise from the one that was destined to love you?" The maiden of darkness touched her sister's cheek gently.
"My heart will sleep until the day I found him again. My love for him is too strong for me to resist. I am sorry, dear sister," the maiden of light wept in her soft hands.
"Well, my dear sister, I shall be by your side forever," the maiden of darkness gently kissed her sister's cheek which was blushed with passion. "Since we are dark and light, the stars will keep us immortal... like the Sun and Moon, with the stars surrounding the
beauty of us sisters, we are the immortal maidens. And there is starlight in your heart..."
"Yes," the maiden of light smiled. "There is starlight in our hearts..."
