The competition of gradual suckiness....
Okay, I think I've figured something out. God and his other deity friends have a competition every week. One of them makes monday bad. The next tries to top the badness of the day before. Well, whoever was on today did one FINE job of making the day bad. Seriously. I think they may also have had power over last night. So they win the celestial pint or whatever the prize is...
Okay, so I woke this morning with a sore throat that made me think one of the friendly neighbourhood badgers that live in my garden had taken up residence in my trachea. Not only that, I had overslept by a good bit, so I had to rush to get everything together. Then, I remembered I had a drama assignment, to bring in three books (actually, three was for poetry, one was for prose). So I promptly set about finding three different books. Three of my favourites. So I tried to close my bag. After wrestling with the accursed thing for three rounds, before getting it in a headlock and closing the zip, I ran to the luas stop. As I walked out my door I calmed a little. It was quiet out, and there wasn't a luas coming, so I strolled to the platform. As said platform comes into sight, I see a luas pulling away....great, so now I might be late too. How fun. well, I didn't end up being late. Got to school on time. As I pulled out swipe card (a stupid system whereby we have to "tag in" in the morning. As they do a rollcall every class, it rather defeats the purpose...), my change scattered across the floor, including my money for the ticket to the musical. Well, as I went looking for the last few coins (without success) I cursed. Someone told me that that wasn't a way for a student to talk, and I look up into the face of one of my least favourite teachers, the one I would have for my next period. Great. Well, I found my change. Then I went to my first classes, including my free period. While trying to do my math homework, I realised nothing was working, so I just stopped. Then art, where I tried to attach chicken wire to a mask using only plaster. Not very easy... next came english, where we had no teacher, but were kicked out as soon as I had got my bloody books out. So I had to jam them back in, crushing the brownie I had in my bag, which then smeared all ovver my books. In computers we did pretty much nothing. We just sat around, doing....well, nothing... next came french, and a quiz I had forgotten about. Sooo much fun...and then lunch. Well, on the plus side, my day picked up a little when I got my ticket to the musical, because we had drama next, which was okay. Except for the fact that I was put in a group with this weirdo who comes up and licks you, or reaches into his pants to pluck you a boquet of hair (he actually did this). Anyway, I had to do a fall, and ended up really hurting myself. I fell a bit TOO well....then math. Which isn't my best subject (so why the heck am I in the top class?!??!?!???!) at the best of times.... And then I get home. On the plus side, I had no homework, and I talked to Kestra which perked me up a little, but I still feel pretty depressed. I wish it was really lashing rain. The whole bright blue sky we had going today really made things worse....Sadly I think the sore throat is a cold...
So whoever was in charge of my day, run. I have squirrels...

Why don't I just write "Weekdays = stupid"?
Okay, I have decided something. Weekdays suck. No longer will I live with the illusion they can be fun. Today, I had only three hours of school. Fun, right? WRONG!!!!! It wasn't fun! Stupid prison tour yesterday got me more work. Seriously, our english teacher seems to give asignments based on just getting out of prison. Everything we work on, its from the perspective of someone who just got out. Hmm.... maybe he thinks it will prepare us....which kinda scares me.
Secondly, I couldn't get a ticket to the Wiz. Stupid ticket sellers taking Wednesday off....
Not only that, but the whole day was, for some inexplicable reason, just mind-numbingly boring. It would have been more fun watching a game of halo, played by two rocks.
On the plus side, I know now my lines for the first scene of the play off by heart. I just need to continue practicing them. Also, I have only two more days before saturday. Which means only two more days before drama!!! YAY!!! And I get off early on Friday. I know that I should be happy about that, but seriously, I just hate school. I mean, in accounting today, as if it weren't boring enough, we took down everything we did last week. Again. Hmm... considering the fact that the teacher was just testing to see who was paying attention, it should have been okay, except this is the kind of teacher who would bite your head off for contradicting him in any way, shape or form. So, he wants us to speak up, but would give out to us if we did. He also gives out if we don't. I really hate business.....

Tuesdays also = Stupid
Okay, who the heck was I kidding? Prison? Fun? Okay, it was better than community work but still anooying....then again, it was school, so thats a bad mark against it already...
Anyways, I don't have any homework so I'll be doing writing/memorizing my lines tonight. And I got one of the songs I'm going to be singing in the play. It was listed as rock on iTunes. EVERYDAY!?!?! BY BUDDY HOLLY?!?! ROCK?!?!?! Makes the Beatles look like Slipknot....not a bad song though...

Monday = Stupid
I HATE Mondays. They suck... see, I have to go through a day without the wise words of say... Slipknot, Korn, or Green Day to keep me sane because we don't have lockers in the stupid pool. Also, I have to get to school for eight thirty...Sigh....
Anyway, today one of my friends asked me if I was at the Goth Party on Saturday night (he is firmly convinced that I am a goth, because I listen to Korn, Slipknot, etc. and am very quiet and usually look depressed). I said no, and was amazed to learn there was a Disturbed concert downtown on Saturday night and I didn't hear anything. I passed really near to Temple Bar on Saturday night, and didn't hear or see a thing... hmm....
Ah well...tomorrow I get out of community work by going to prison. See? I can take the jail time!

Urrrrghhh......brains......
Okay....I feel like a zombie this morning....I woke up at about seven (at least I think its seven, my alarm clock and phone could have teamed up to get me Stupid non-asimov electronics. This is almost as bad as my computer trying to kill me...). SEVEN!!! No one should wake up this early...it should be against the law....just build faster busses...sigh...okay, well, I have more rehearsals today, so I hope I do well....

Fear the wrath of earbuds....
Well, I'm always amazed by the games that develop in my school. For example:
Student Curling
Get someone to sit on a chair. Then, push them forward, and shove them down the hall. Two other students rapidly sweep the floor in front of the rocketing chair. Extra points are awarded for the students being thrown forcibly from the chair.
Brush cricket
This is simply cricket, using brushes as bats.
And finally theres a game I play with one of my friends: iPod battles. My friend and I will be chatting, listening to music (one earbud in, one out) and we get onto the topic of bands (now, my friend listens to the Beatles, Queen, U2, and Disney songs. I listen to Green Day, Foo Fighters, Slipknot and Korn. He believes that Korn and Slipknot are evil) and then we start a iPod battle. We each cup one earbud in some form of amplifier (usually hands or paper) and crank the volume, trying to drown the other out. I usually win, because the Beatles (nothing against them, they're cool) could never beat Slipknot in a battle of volume. And I won't even get started on U2 (not bad either) or Disney (.....).
Anyway, I'm happy. Its almost the end of the week, which means DRAMA!!!! YAY!!! And the rehearsals for the play I'm in. I love the weekends! And I finally got a name for a place I was trying to name in my book. Only problem is...I still can't break the main writer's block...

The Inner Outer Inner Darkness
Okay, so today I did a bit of releasing the inner goth (and yes, Kiss my ass bunny, I know you said something about doing that with Evanessance). By that I mean listening to Korn and Slipknot (among others), blinds drawn, playing violent video games in the dark. This was mainly because I was drenched on the way home from working with the old people, and feeling kind of depressed (despite the lead in the play...). At least tomorrow I have two free classes.
Oh, and today I did a bit of acting (yay!) in French (boo!), which was being used to make fun of the students (boo!). I was dressed in a long purple dress... I looked like a giant bottle of Ribena...
And here's a tribute to Kestra for getting her braces. Umm... TRIBUTE!!!!! That's the best I can do...
