://WinXP and the evening I took off//:

"I had my jimmy waxed 7 times last week. . . . "

I've never been one to take time off, because I can never have too many hours, but from the start of the day I wasn't feeling 100%, and after hearing someone who was "subbing" on my floor say, "well the people who usually work this floor don't know what the hell they doin," I decided that it was time to take a break. I never fell asleep so quickly in a long time. It must have done me some good, too, becaue my eye has only jumped twice today (it started jumping after i started working.) I can't beleive that someone would say that I don't know what I'm doing on MY floor, where I receive nothing but compliments from the boss every time I see him (Monday he said that the restuarant would be alright if they could clone me.) How dare that lazy cow (I know exactly who it was, too,) but I can't/won/t confront her about it, because "we're (as in myself and Sallie, who has these problems all of the time) better than they are", (at least that's what she says, I'd prefer to go at it with them.) Oh well, today's a new day so hopefully that individual wont say something to piss me off.

Well, I'm starting to get sick of Windows XP and its vulnerabilities, so I'm thinking about (after I get mom her own PC soon,) adding Windows 2000 in the first partition as a backup and for maintaining my NTFS partitions, but performing all other task within a Linux distro (SUSE 9 seems to be compatible with my motherboard,) since I don't know how to add write privilages to NTFS partitions in Linux.

As for my anime collection, I'm adding "Fist of the North Star" movie, which I am watching right now, and starting on adding "Blue Gender." Fist of the North Star would interest people who like Dragon Ball (Z) but want a little bit more out of their anime. Its EXTREMELY VIOLENT; I just watch Kenshiro (the main hero) take on an opponent and hit his forehead with his index finger, within seconds the man's head exploded, showing in detail his brain pieces, veins, skin flaps, etc. Overall i think its a great series, but I'm surprised to see that it looks so much better than what I'd see on Showtime (which looks extremely old and is dubbed in English, what i'm watching now is subbed in English.) I'm thinking that this is a remake, because of the use of high quality CG. . . .

://I never hide anything from you, and Sallie, and my tolerance of Windows XP//:

Well, this post is a day late because Windows XP is a biznatch. It crashed due to spyware/virus, and its nearly impossible to fix it AND spare the data on 40gig, so Windows gots to go until I purchase XP Pro ($199.99. . . so I may get XP Home instead lol) when I get paid. . .

I went to Sallie's house, my favorite co-worker in the whole wide freakin world besides my boss Rae Lynn. Sallie's a great cook; she made boneless pork chops, with gravy and macaroni, and they were really good (though i'm not a big fan of salted rice)

Jai called, and we talked, somewhat about when I took her out, and somehow we get into a conversation about her keeping things from me. She gets all into the (usual for every girl I know) "I never keep things from you, Winn," and a few minutes later into the conversation, suddenly has to go but wont tell me why. When I asked her again and again, she said, "look, im about to just hang up this phone. . . . " so I did, and I don't see myself talking to her anytime soon, or taking her out again anytime soon. . . . .but oh well, that always seems to happen to me when women get into that "I never keep anything from you" routine; life always manages to put them into a position that makes them look like liars LOL!

**Just In**
Scott and I connected our broadband modems (2 coaxial connections to 2 separate modems) to my PC and benchmarked over a full T1 connection!!

://My Day Off: graphic novels and Jai//:

Well, I'm at the start of my Otaku journey, but I am slowly expanding my knowledge about shows and asian culture. Last night, after being ridiculed online for so many years, I finally met Jai in person. We went to eat out at my favorite restuarant and checked out the movie "Guess Who" with Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher (reviews coming shortly.) Jai has some pretty interesting stats (Otaku would get it,) especially since most of those stats match if not exceed my own especially wit. . . .) Overall, it was like hanging out with a much meaner, more upgraded version of myself, and I really had a good time. We also hit up the Barnes and Noble book store where I got her a book (on that Monroe lady who had 11 toes) and I got myself the Naruto vol 1, Bleach vol 1 (both shonen jump grapnovs), Cowboy Bebop vol 1 (toykopop grapnov,) and Ranma 1/2 vol 1 (action edition) graphic novels, AND a MS GUNDAM WING technical manual (YAY!) I left the bookstore happy, idk about Jai, but she seemed happy that I got her that book (she didnt even notice that I had it until I went checkout, oh well) Once I learn more about her, I think i'll present a list of stats (rpg style :-D)
