[\\:Good, no wait, PROGRESSIVE News, and other things. . .:\\]
[Playlist and Snippet]
You know how to get eternal life
in the center of the lightning-speed waltz.
Feel your soul cut by a rusty knife
as you head for the self-destructive edge.

Our satori are just floating in the core, [1]
where we can spiritually go through the door.
We'll know how to get eternal life
while we catch the pulse from unknown satellites

If we get the transient facts,
then we feel the info high.
If we get the transient facts,
then we are really free
to fly high
in space.
- "Information High" - Yoko Kanno - Macross Plus OST

[Progressive News]
Microsoft has confirmed talks that Internet Explorer 7 is in development, under the codename "Rincon." It's said to be built around improving internet security, but I've also read that it will be tabbed (like MOZILLA YAY!) AND will be Longhorn independent, so they can/will release a beta in the summer.

In other more disappointing news, Mom was written up at work for something she didn't do, and she's sure that her boss did it to her to screw up her chances of getting promoted, so she's relying on me to help her get a job.

[No Work, Desktop Mod Again]
Well, it wasn't busy tonight in the buffet, so I asked to take the evening off. I've been here, bored as hell (but anything's better than working that buffet,) so I've decided to make another change to my desktop enviornment! Here are the images of the past 3 changes:

This is my super-fancy theme, loaded with widgets and other desktop modifications. Unfortunately, its all VERY resource intensive and due to a motherboard changeout, I lost the 768MB of ram I had to handle all of this (now I just have 512MB,) so this had to go. It also made things very complicated. The visual style is the critically acclaimed (so awesome, beautiful, sleek, ok enough praise) Royal Inspirat theme. Note: Don't let this desktop fool you, its Windows XP Pro, not a Mac OS!!

This is my Armored Core theme. Totally black and a little grey. The Winamp theme is in fact a black MAC skin (you can see the blue apple if you look close enough.)

This is how my desktop looks now; sleek, modern, not too fancy to save system resources. Taken after the upcoming Microsoft™ Longhorn™ Operating System. You can't really tell the difference between the two unless you use them! Unfortunately you can't really see the mouse cursor (the blue rectangle at the top of my buddy list window,) because over the web page its in 'text highlighting' mode. Its a 3-dimensional Starcraft mouse cursor, modeled after the one when youre playing the game. Also, if you look closely, you'll notice that I'm taking advantage of Windows XP's built in alpha blending features; my Trillian buddy list, chat window, and Windows taskbar are all transparent!

All of the tools, widgets, bars, and other desktop modification themes, mouse cursors, icons, etc are FREE and are not too difficult to apply to your own computer. For a better description on how to do it yourself (takes a LITTLE experience,) send me an instant message (Spaceboy2501) or an email (Genocidic187@gmail.com) and I will gladly try and explain it to you!
