   The Joys of Christmas as told by an avid Anime Lover
So I am home from college and I realised that there is nearly three times the freedom do draw casually then there is at school. That seems to be a pretty obvious observation but hey I am out of school and I get to be slow and dumb. Any way I have been drawing up a storm. But because storms are hard to animate I've stopped. Ha ha lame joke I know. But with the time I've had and all the anime watching I've done I again turned to my current favorite show, Mai Otome. I made this fan art (if it gets accepted) of a character from the show before Otome and put her into an Otome battle outfit. What I really like about this is the way the fire turned out. any who big Holiday wishes to you all. Check out Mai if you have some time. Talk to you all later.

   Mai Otome
A new fan art up today from the show Mai Otome. The character is Nina Wong and I had to make this because I think she's a cutie. Yea it turns out that that last sentence sounds as lame when written as it did in my head. Any way I haven't given up on trying to get the Coop Bebop up, I'll try and submit that again soon.    Its up . . . sort of

   The Lion, the Piece, and the Music
Yes, yes I did just rip of the title to Narnia. But I did see it yesterday. Its pretty good. I never read the books but I was entertained. And that covers the Lion.

The Piece, I did a coloring of a Cowboy Bebop Piece for LouBlue. I don't know how to link her site but she is in my friends list and I suggest you check out her work. She is very talented! As soon as I get her approval I will post the pic here for everyone to check out.

Finally the Music. Narnia's music is so good. I am serious! If anyone else felt the same way let me know. Its got some moving scores.

Now on to Unrelated stuff. I did some minor updating to http://www.space-cowboy.tv They might be worth seeing. Also I figured out how to post pictures using html code. Can you believe I host a website and I am just figuring this stuff out?!?!?! Oh well, school is over for the quarter and work gave be a break too! yay. Next quarter I start my Graphic Design courses. Wish me luck I am really excited about it!

   Classic Faye
Just submitted a classic Faye Valentine piece for my 16th fan art. This completes my first page! YAY for me. I also did a little house cleaning with the colors of this site. Updated my site (http://www.space-cowboy.tv). Its been a good weekend. I ate alot of Turkey of course and I feel like I need new pants. My next project is finishing Lou Blue's peice because I am an idiot (which does mean self centered) and should have finished it a long time ago. No excuses about being really busy.    Art of Otaku
Some of you may have seen the advertisement for Art of Otaku around the site. For those who don't know its a "How to" book on drawing anime done by some of the most talented and qualified artists here at Otaku. The book itself is huge something like 800 pages with outstanding step by step tutorials. I just bought the book myself and I am so impressed. I think its really awesome that so many talented people were able to come together on this joint venture. Coming from me it doesn't mean much but, if you have some extra money lying around I would totally pick this up if for nothing else just to see some of your favorite artists here in action.

   Bebop Redemption CH2
Bebop Redemption, a fan fiction about the events after Cowboy Bebop ends with pictures and video, has Chapter2 out if your interested in reading it and checking out the pictures.    Too much at once, I must borrow magic from Harry Potter
Disclaimer: This is a random thought process written while I am at work (shame on me for doing this at work, those of you with jobs don't do what I am doing).

Do you ever feel like there are so many mediums you want to get into and there just isn't time to do them all? Recently I have been thinking about getting into the vector/coordinate based graphic programs ie 3D Max, Illustrator. I want to make actual three dimentional people and once I do I can have them do anything I want. If you control the actors then you can direct with no restrictions. I could make my own anime! Which I guess I am doing with Bebop Redemption but still I just feel like there is never time to get started on learning these programs. Which is why I am going to be Harry potter for a moment and get more time. Ever notice how physics just don't apply in the world of Hogwarts? I am reading the 5th book now so don't anyone ruin anything for me, which is why I will stop my comments now in case people are further behind in the series then I am.

Which brings me to my final point. I am going to the midnight showing of the forth movie tomorrow. Its going to rock. Thanks everyone for barring with my random work thought process.

I DID IT
First of all, thank you everyone for your kind birthday and good luck wishes. I know they've made my week so much better. I found out that I was accepted into the Graphic Design program here at College!!! I am so excited to finally start formal training on graphic desgin. Can't wait. Any who in other news I made a little postcard piece for my files here at the Otaku because I haven't submitted in a long time and I really wanted to. School and work are keeping me so busy that I just haven't had the time. But here we go, if you get a chance please check it out. Thanks again to everyone for your good vibes and wishes!
