Good Friends
So I was going to add the following to my profile above but the code is well beyond the character limit. Any html guru's out there know how to link an off site html include file to this site? I tried the php and virtual html versions, didn't work. Ideas?

Winry . . . wow
So I started something on Monday just goofing around. It really wasn't anything then it turned into something. I finished it tonight and I am pretty pleased with how it came out. Sometimes I get lucky and this was one of those times. One of the fastest pieces I've done! I present Ms. Winry Rockbell.

   Contemplative Blabber
Well I was at the gym not but 20 minutes ago and durring my run I got to thinking about some things. I have a serious question to pose to you all, and the more answers I can get the better I'll feel about the outcome.

Question: What style of art do you like better? Realism combined with anime, or anime fuzzy cell shading? Below are examples of both.

On another note: I am waiting on two more entries for the contest, one from Deviant art and one from here. Results should be in this weekend. I also want to introduce you to our guest judge Grifter99. He and I will be working together to select our winners.

Yet another idea: Has anyone heard of an art jam? I think that's what it's called. Basically a theme is presented and eveyone participating draws a piece of the picture then its put together by the moderator. I was thinking that it might be fun to host a Naruto, Full Metal Panic, Fullmetal Alchemist, OR Cowboy Bebop art jam where whoever wants in can sign up and we call each draw a character. Does this sound interesting to anyone?

   Free Art
I did some free art this weekend, Two pieces I wanted to do. Needed a break from requests. The first is the Anticipated Naru Narusegawa piece that I wanted to do. I am please with how it turned out. I went back to classic anime cell shading like I did in the Chidori piece. You can check it out below.

Secondly for all you Harry Potter fans, I did a Deathly Hollows piece. Its a huge spoiler so don't click it if you aren't done reading it yet. Because it isn't anime I didn't post it here. You can check that piece out by clicking here

Contest Update!
Let me just say that I'm touched by everyone that entered my contest. When I only had one submission I was distraught. But now I'm up to 4 submissions and 1 more on the way. We are waiting on wingsxdontxfail to enter. But don't think that there is any pressure, please take your time. On another note some of you might have noticed I changed my Avatar. What do you think? I was playing around with some photomanipulation stuff today at work and I made a really cool space picture. Work Load and General Statements
I am slowly breaking down my work load from all the requests and art trades not too long ago. This is what I have left:

I also have a few ideas of pieces that I want to do for me too. I have a Narusegawa picture in my head that I want to do, something from Fate Stay Night, and maybe something completely unrelated to anime (a supergirl picture done in the infamous style of Michael Turner) as if I could recreate his works, HA.

I was thinking, for all those that have an interest in my coloring contest I didn't put anything in there about how to "submit". So if you have a submission please PM me so I know about it.

A reminder for those interested, Bebop Redemption went through a major update recently too. New video, art, and story not found on this site. Check out space-cowboy.tv for all the goods your missing out on here at the Otaku *not to say that there isn't goods here because I love this site, I just have a lot of stuff at my own site too.

Naruhina and Contest
Goodnight all! It's weird to open a post with a phrase usually reserved for parting but hey its 12:26am. So I completed another part of my work load. This time Darknessdancer and I had an art trade going on and She asked for a picture of Naruhina, the popular pairing of Naruto and Hinata from Naruto. This piece took me quite a while because I tried a blending of many things. I used a new style of figure for Naruto which makes him look more muscular and I did some standard cell shading in the background for the Kiss. To view the work check it out below.
