   Sh*t happens, but there are some AWESOME things to distract from the mess!
This place always fills me with some sort of emotion. That is obnoxiously vague, but that's the best I can do lol.

I've been into the audiobooks heavy these days. I'm hooked on the Avatar novels! Yangchen comes out in a few days and I haven't been this excited for a release since the Twilight books lol. The Kyoshi novels were PHENOMENAL! F.C. Yee truly outdid himself and Nancy Wu's performance had me feeling like I was apart of the action.
Now.... Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service have always been my favorite Ghibli films... but having read the source material... I have some fascinating mixed feelings? lol. The differences with Howl's Moving Castle in particular have thrown me for a total loop. The movie is beautiful, and Ive always been enamored with the way that love between Sophie and Howl develops, and the way Sophie finds her footing, and all that jazz... but CHILE?! The film doesn't hold a fricken candle to the original novel by Diana Wynne Jones. The characters are completely different. (Sophie is a gem with a smart ass mouth, and Howl is an even bigger hot mess than the movie lets on lol). I encourage you all to read/give it a listen. There are two more books in the series that I plan to tackle after Yangchen. Hell, give them ALL a listen lol. There's a plethora of valuable life advice for young and old alike.

As far as anime goes... Kotaro Lives Alone broke me. As a constantly tired parent to a rather independent four-year-old, it was an enjoyable and emotional one to watch. It had me thinking about my post-partum depression and how hard it is to actually get help when you need it sometimes. We as adults really should do better to care for ourselves so we can be the best versions of us for us and the people we love and that love us. I know that was a lot, but it made me emotional! lol. sue me. *shrugs*

I love that we keep coming back here. Every time I see YouTube videos covering defunct sites of nostalgia's past, I keep waiting for our little niche corner of the internet to pop up. I'm glad it hasn't yet. Love to you who keep coming back.

Ps. the baking thing? shit's whack. At least with this particular company, and in this particular region. lol. I'm about to look for something else to do in the meantime. Life's too short to let anyone make you feel small. So go out there and do big things! (talking to myself, I'm notorious for not following my own advice lmao)

What podcasts are y'all into these day? I love Brian and Jim on the Experience and the Drive thru. (If you know, you know lmao)

   I should definitely come to this empty comer of net-space more often. How refreshing!
Hello out there! Currently nearly thirty and doing the mom thing. As rewarding as this is and has been... It's all fun and games until you forget the most favorite parts of yourself. Lol. Luckily, I noticed and have since taken steps to reclaim myself and my interests.

That being said...
I'm starting a home decor business.
I'm about to begin work as a baker.
I never really learned how to drive, so I probably need to do that.
I have some music I need to record.
I need to finish my story.

I recently learned that I'm more or less ashamed or embarrassed to pursue the things that bring me true joy. I'm so accustomed to depriving myself for the sake of those around me, but it's different now. I need to find invest in myself the way I've always wanted to be invested in. How can I expect anyone to listen to me if I don't listen to myself?
How can I live my Kiki's delivery service bakery style life if I don't take steps to learn the trade/business? Lol. Who tf am I trying to impress?

For once, it seems I am legitimately interested in impressing my damn self. I can only hope that things get better from here.

   Long Time No See, A Brief Synopsis, and STRESS!!!!!!
Wow.... It's been a VERY long time since I've logged on.... I don't even know where to begin, it's been so long.... Well, first off, how is everyone? Everyone that's left, anyway.... :( I really should start getting on WAY more often then once every six or seven months lol....

So While I was away, here's what happened:
I got pulled out of everything I've ever loved to do
I finally got guts enough to ask my old crush to the prom (he said yes ^_^)
He backed out the next day
I went to prom flying solo and had a BLAST
We went to Chicago and placed first in all of our categories and got Grand Champs
I did my first show at the SCCT in LOTP
I did my second a few weeks later and got my first lead in Antigone
School started (I'm a Senior now! :P)
I'm Choir President again (I'm all alone now!^_-)
Everyone started acting weird
We had auditions for groups (Imade them all)
We had auditions for our Disney Concert (I got Lumiere)
I choreographed an African piece
My parents decided to get a Divorce
I filled out applications for college (*sigh*)
I made Homecoming Court (I didn't win Queen)
My best friend was being a MAJOR D-Bag
We spent a few days apart (we're better now)
I had a session with the professional actor who played Scar from "The Lion King" and the Beast from "Beauty and the Beast" (He was TOUGH)
I have auditions tonight for All-State
I have an AP Calculus test tomorrow and I am going to fail miserably

As you can see, I haven't been doing much lately but getting STRESSED. I need a vacation already and school JUST started. WTH?!?!?!?!?!

The day of Today.
Long day, fun day, do it all again day! ^_^

Today we met with Leadership Shelby, and we gave them tours of our respective departments. The two men I was touring were very intrigued with what I was talking about. Either that or they were total creepers who wouldn't stop checking me out..... I think it was the second one. CREEPY!!!

Today I was in all three blocks of choir! I think that was fun! In fifth block, My ex-partner was standing by his stuff waitng to go, but he watched me rehease with the group. I think it finally hit me that we weren't partners anymore. I was all alone. *extreme sad face* I know I'm being a little dramatic, but the way I feel is WAY more dramatic... (lame, right? I know)

People are power tripping, and it's getting on my NERVES. ^_^ All I can say about that right now.....

I have to get back to Synergy, so I'll update later! ^_^

I suppose it's been a while, huh? There's so much to tell, I don't even know where to start!

I'll start with Show Choir....
Okay, so there's good news and bad news: The good news is that I got an AWSOME partner!!!! I got Michael this year lol. He said I had to give him a show choir name, so his new name is Miji XD. The bad news is that Michael quit last month. The day before Christmas break. Merry Christmas! -.- Right now I'm a partnerless president..... Doesn't that have a nice ring? He said he felt bad, and I guess I'll take his word for it..... *sigh* His heart is more into drama, and mine is choir. I guess we meet in the middle with musical theatre?

Speaking of musical theatre..... Our school is doing Footloose! (exciting, right?)

I have four rehearsals tomorrow..... I have a LONG day........ Ugh.

today is the last day of the trimester, and I couldn't be more overjoyed!!!!! I think I'm gonna go over to Mackenzi's later.... idk.... It's whatever hahahaha We have to finish Proud Mary this weekend, because apparently the retreat is next weekend, and I was under the impression that I had a whole nother week to get this done! Guess not! ^^'

So, it's fourth block and I'm just kinda relaxin' and having a good grand jolly old time. I've been dealing with so many rude people today!!!! WTH! It's been a very annoying day..... UGH.... I'm so tired.... I just want to sleep this weekend! Since we don't have school tomorrow, I guess that's a good thing, huh? XD

On a totally random note: I LOVE how emoticons can look like the actual face that you would make! It's so convenient for when you're im-ing and you need to make a certain face to say something! OMG!!!! Like this one ^_^ that's almost how I smile at people for real!! And this one XD that how I look when I get excited!!!!!!
