Hey nice site i saw one of your entries on a site by the artist name (Teia) why do you want to put a background on? It's much better when a site is a plain colour like this. The reason i say this i because i saw a couple of sites on here that has backgrounds but you can't see the writings and that's very annoying.Keep your site like this it looks great and easy to read
