squeeeee! time for deep/emo poems!
Feeling of trying
Love slowly dieing
Pain growing stronger
Depression having hold longer
My life will know no love.
----------------------------------
Why can't I plunge the knife in deep,
And let this liquid so red seep,
Into the ground from where I came?
To me the world is all the same,
Bigoted, hateful and me they blame,
For everything from the Big Bang,
To the choir that never sang.
Why do these eyes shed tears,
Like a torrential downpour,
Of sadness for my very fears,
That keep me from my hapiness?
I never wanted money or fame,
All I ever wanted to claim,
Was to be my mother's daughter,
But no one cared or even bothered,
to see what was good for me,
Cause this girl they refused to let me be.
Oh why? Why can't I plunge this knife so deep,
And let this liquid so red seep,
Into the ground from where I came,
Cause the world is all the same?

okay, enough with the emo-ness. time for funny/happy poems!
-------------------------------------
Danny O'Dare, the dancin' bear,
Ran away from the County Fair,
Ran right up to my back stair
And thought he'd do some dancin' there.
He started jumpin' and skippin' and kickin',
He did a dance called the Funky Chicken,
He did the Polka, he did the Twist,
He bent himself into a pretzel like this.
He did the Dog and the Jitterbug,
He did the Jerk and the Bunny Hug.
He did the Waltz and the Boogaloo,
He did the Hokey-Pokey too.
He did the Bop and the Mashed Potata,
He did the Split and the See Ya Later.
And now he's down upon one knee,
Bowin' oh so charmingly,
And winkin' and smilin'--it's easy to see
Danny O'Dare wants to dance with me.
--------------------------------------
My dad gave me one dollar bill
'Cause I'm his smartest son,
And I swapped it for two shiny quarters
'Cause two is mroe than one!
And then i took the quarters
And traded them to Lou
For three dimes-i guess he don't know
that three is mroe than two!
Just them, along came old blind Bates
And just 'cause he can't see
He gave me four nickels for my three dimes,
And four is more than three!
And i took the nickels to Hiram Coombs
Down at the seed-feed store,
and the fool gave me five pennies for them,
And five is more than four!
And then i went and showed my dad,
and he go red in the cheeks
And closed his eyes and shook his head-
Too proud of me to speak!
------------------------------------
okay, enough with the poetry. bye bye!
(I did not write any of these poems, i just found them on the internet.)
