This is the poem I wrote.
"The American Dream"
To fight for love, to fight for liberty,
and fight for those whom we like dearly
THIS IS THE AMERICAN DREAM.
To strive for Justice, To strive for Peace,
So all the hate and war may cease.
THIS IS THE AMERICAN DREAM.
Terrorist terror fills our lives,
While headline news fills our minds
As we try to remember "Not all is lost"
We send our men out, no matter the cost.
We fight and we strive, We pray and we hope,
Because, we all know,
THIS IS THE AMERICAN DREAM.
