Some Poems!
These are some poems I read the other day. I thought they were really good, so I've decided to share them. Happy readin! Also, comment if you like a particular one!
"if there are any heavens"
By e.e cummings
if there are any heavens my mother will (all by herself) have one. it will not be a pansy heaven nor
a fragile heaven of lilies-of-the-valley but
it will be a heaven of blackred roses
my father will be (deep like a rose
tall like a rose)
standing near my
(swaying over her
silent)
with eyes which are really petals and see
nothing with the face of a poet really which
is a flower and not a face with
hands
which whisper
This is my beloved my
(suddenly in sunlight)
he will bow,
& the whole garden will bow)

Sorrow
By Joules Graves
Sorrow lifts her melancholy eyes
Gazing longingly towards grey and cloudy skies
she sits ina wooden chair at the corner of the room
She wears scented tears as her only perfume
Wating endlessly by the silent phone
Wondering wordlessly, how did she get to be so alone?
Sorrow wanders somber through the daze
Fading formlessly in shades of stormy greys
She dwells in attic realms with dust as thick as years
She stores ancient woes as lonely souvinirs
Weeping endlessly, sadness to the bone
Wondering wordlessly, how did she get to be so alone?
Sorrow cries her prayer into the rain
Will she ever know happiness again?
She spins cobweb threads upon her spinning wheel
She's afraid lonliness is all she'll ever feel
Raining endlessly, dripping to the bone
Wondering wordlessly, how did she get to be so alone?
So alone, so alone

by William Blake
To See a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
