   anxiety
that's the word which sums up how I feel. Sort of like everything is up to me, but I can't do anything because I'm waiting for others. I should find comfort, but my comforter is busy, and attached elsewhere. So I find a rise in stress, accompanied with a lack of comfort, and a need to keep mostly quiet. If I've been acting extra angry these last few days, I've just been feeling this more and more, but what can I do? I'm caught in a catch-22, anything I do to modify my situation would make it worse. I do not like this, and all I can do is wait for this to pass.

A tattoo, a bracelet, a growing list of promises, but what can I do? you promised didn't you? it's not like anything I want matters after you've made a promise. Sometimes I wonder what else you've promised, what else you do, why you continue, and why it seems that you form these pacts to perplex me and incur my ire. If I did not know better I would swear you wanted me to be angered, perhaps so I could be portrayed in a bad light, so your bond would grow, and I, the evil one, may be discarded. Just because I'm paranoid on occasion does not mean I'm not right...

at least not yet... no quizzes for a while, just bare bones posts. Love you rin, just wanted to let you and the world reading this to know. I'm feeling tired, sore, and overall under appreciated. These feelings are probably baseless, but I have them nonetheless, so it's best that they are vented methinks. Thats all for now.

I didn't really know anyone found me particularly grumpy... guess you learn something new everyday...

It's maybe quarter till 2, I'll be in bed around 3, and be up 5 or so hours later.

I feel happy tonight, for once, because I was actually able to help rin. For once, when she needed me, not only did I help, but I actually think I proved half-way useful, and gave half-way decent assistance, which gives me a sense of pride. Finally, after all this time, I can actually do something for her, rather than the other way around, it's quite pleasing.

Who else from that series would I be anyway?

It's about 3:15, off to bed now. Oh and we saw 300, it was nice, very epic. However the historical facts about the battle tell a slightly different story. Mainly that Leonidas was not alone, but rather he was joined not only by arcadians and other greeks on land, but by the most powerful navy in all of Greece, the Athenian navy. The Athenian navy, in conjunction with the storm held off the Persian Navy, allowing Leonidas to make his last stand. Additionally, if one can believe wikipedia, 700 thespians and 900 helots(spartan slaves) stayed with the 300 spartans to make their last stand. So they were not as alone as the movie makes it seem, however this takes away nothing from what they did, as they stared down a force of at least 500,000 and up to 5 million, that's 5,000,000 men.

Of course no one mentions Themistocles, the leader of Athens, who forged the coalition of greeks that fought at Thermopylae. Yes, that's right, Leonidas wasn't the one who made the decision, Themistocles was. He's also the one who commanded the Athenian and greek combined navy at the battle of salamis, which destroyed the persian naval fleet and saved greece for good. So taking all this into account, 300 is great, and a must see, but keep in mind that the real battle was far more complex than the movie can depict.
