Holidays upon us... Wii need help
The line of work I currently pursue has me constantly informing people that the Wii is not available. Being as I am, I don't particularly enjoy such things, I purchased one for myself upon its release(much to rinoa's chagrin, we camped out for it, lets just say I knew it would be big) and now every other person comes into my workplace and asks about the system. Of course, if there were any around it wouldn't be a problem. But then there's the occasional person who feels it is my own personal fault for not being in possession of a salable console. Others blame Nintendo, or my employer. I must say, this is idiocy. To paraphrase my superior, the smartest people come and get their things early, especially if they know some items will be hard to find, those smart people bought up Wii consoles. Now I would rather refrain from crude name calling, but if you are desperate for a Wii at this point, it is your own fault for not foreseeing that the console, which has been consistently sold out for over a year, would be even more impossible to find right now. Everyone and their grandmother, as the saying goes, is after one of these things. So the best bet is to cut your losses for this month and wait till spring, when nintendo's new factory (quite possibly their second new factory built just for the manufacture of the system)comes online and supply catches up with demand.

If you are so desperate to get one, look up the wii raincheck program. You can get more information on the news, whether online or some other source (try yahoo news). However the raincheck won't get you a Wii until January.
