Not just a rant, but an Alert
Today is a sad day. While browsing the fanart today, I happened upon two copies of the same picture, but by different artists. One was newer, which would be the one that some sicko posted up thinking that she could get away with it. The stolen pieces of art are from Ghost's Anime Kitties, which is a great site, and from Milkycat's art. Personally, I loathe this sort of business. If you are going to post art, don't steal someone else's! Now, I know that I probably shouldn't tell you all who is doing the thievery, but everyone needs to know! It's "yugis girl". Now, you know, and you can do something about it. There are several ways to combat this, one of which to be signing this artist's guestbook telling her that you're on to her case, and hope that she stops. Now, you may think "Wow! That's really mean!" but so is art theft! Art theft is not being creative enough to come up with your own, so you hide behind someone else... As I said, this is a sad day. Shout out against it! I ask for your help, fellow Otaku members! ~fini
