Getting There
Ug! I'm so tired right now. I've been working like crazy. Luckily I have off on Friday and only one more week till the Mardi Gras break. Yes I live in New Orleans and I get off a whole week of school for Mardi Gras, but I don't get off for Presidents day. Only 50 more days of school!

   Back in the Swing-I hate school
OK Well I've been busy as heck these past two weeks. I blame it on homework. My English teacher is crazy; I've had homework from him every night since I got back from break.
Well its not all bad. My family finally figured out that its better to just get me money instead of trying to buy me a present. This is good because besides my cousine, I'm the only one who likes anime in my family, let alone knows what it is. With the cash I got I was able to get some major goodies such as the first season of Sailor Moon uncut box set.
Oh and one little bit of info: I turn 18 tomorrow!!!!

Suger Bowl Maddness
OK I'm finally back from wherever my mind goes durning vacation time. I only have one more day of break left. Waaaaa!!!.

Well, for those of you who don't follow college football, tonight is the Suger Bowl. Now you may be wandering why the heck am I talking about football on an anime based site. Well one reason is because I live in New Orleans, where this game takes place. The other reason is because the entire city has gone crazy because LSU is playing in it. I'm telling you guys this because if the LSU tigers beat the Oklahoma Sooners, a mass riot may ensue, resulting in who knows what.
So if you don't hear from me in a while, its problily because my computer got distroyed by some crazed LSU fan (most likely my brother).

   Free at Last!!!
Finally, I'm free. I just finished my last exam today and now for the next two weeks, I'm free to do whatever I want. It feels kinda weird though. I mean, I've been so busy for the past three weeks and there's been so many things that I've HAD to do. But now, I can do whatever I want, and theres so many things that I WANT to do, like sleep for instance. Best of all, now that I'm not tking Latin anymore, I can start learning Japanese. (I figured it would be best not to try and learn two forigien languages at once)

Oh, and I'm going out of town next week, so Happy Holidays, everyone!

   Christmas Blues
Woh! I didn't realize how long its been since I last did an update. Anyways, as you can tell from the subject title, I am getting really stressed out by the holidays. I've comitted myself to doing so many things. For one thing I'm doing all of the shopping for me and my brother and all he has to do is pay me half of what I spend. When I told him last night that he owes me about $50 he freaked, but I think thats pretty good concidering that I'm going out and buying and wrapping gifts for 7 people.
I'm also in charge of my girl scout troop's holiday fundraiser and my homeroom's adopt-a-family charity project. Luckily, I'm almost done with my shopping and tomorrow I'll be getting some of my christmas presents early at my family's annual christmas party and dinner which got pushed up two weeks.
On top of everything else, I still have to manage to pass all my classes with decent grades; right now I need to get an A in Art, a B in Latin, a B in Physics, and a C in Calculus, a class I advise against taking if you can help it. If I can manage to get those grades then I should still be able to get into my college of choice. Wish me luck!

I have a club!!!
Hey I know its been a while but I have good news, my anime club just got approved. I'm so excited about this since the first meeting is Monday after school. This month has been so busy for me in case your wandering why the heck it took me so long to post something. I've been dealing with college applications and I had to go take the ACT today.

I've also been busy with my Halloween costume. I'm cosplaying Sango from Inuyasha. Speeking of cosplaying, I'm working on a new project: a cosplay gallery page on my webpage.    The waiting game
OK I just want to appolgise again for the wait on news about my club. Once again the administration was busy last week. This time it was recruting perspective students to apply to our school. But this week they should definatly get to it. So that means if things finally go accoring to plan then I should know this Friday. I just feel like I'm playing the waiting game here.

   Update
I know some of you have been coming to my page to see if I've gotten my anime club started. The thing is, I don't know yet. You see, last week was spirit week and the whole school was so warped up in everything that the administration didn't get a chance to look at my proposal. But I did go talk to the student life coordinater and he told me that they should get to it this week. I should know by next Monday at the earliest.

   Anime Club
Hello! I've been so busy lately. That is because I'm currently trying to start an anime club at my school. This is a lot harder than it seems, especially at my school. First, you need to get enough people intrested in the club. Then you need to get a teacher willing to moderate it. Finally, a proposal to the facuty needs to be written. I am currently in the process of writing it and I'd like to thank all the people who responded to my post on Otaku Boards, the info you gave me really helped. I'll know by next week whether or not the club was appoved. I'll post when I know.

   Sept. 11th anniversery
I figurerd I'd better post something today. Today, for me, feels weird. I know today is ment for honoring those who lost their lives two years ago, but for a while immediately after it happened I thought I wasn't affected. But then I relized something, just because you pesonally didn't know the three thousand poeple who lost thier lives, doesn't mean that someone you know wasn't. We were all affected by the events of that day two years ago is some way, shape, or form. Some of us were even changed a little. So let us pause with silence and remember those who are nolonger with us. May they be in our heart forever.
