Home Sickness (well, not really but sort of)
Well, with Halloween over, I can now think ahead to the winter holiday season. Two weeks from today, I'll be going back home for Thanksgiving break. I haven't seen any of my family in over two months. I'm not really homesick, persay, but lets just say I'll be glad to be home for the holidays.

Speaking of traveling, the car ride from here to New Orleans is about 5 hours and this will be my first time making that trip completely alone. Traveling up here, I had my little brother in my car, plus I was in between my mom's SUV and my dad's truck. I'm not too worried though. I know the route home and I trust my driving skills, as long as it isn't raining. I've been petrified about driving in the rain since about two years ago, but I'll tell y'all about that back story some other time. For now let's just hope it's clear down south on Nov 19th.
