Congrats to Italy!!!!
Congrats are in order to Italy, the champions of the 2006 World Soccer Cup! the Italians were playing the French in the Soccer World Champions and the score was a tie between the two(the score was 1 to 1) for what seemed to last forever. As a matter of fact, the champions were decided in a penalty kick between the two in the end. Unfortunately for the French, they missed thier shot. When it was the Italians turn for thier kick, they easily made the shot and therefore won the World Cup. The French were later rewarded with 2nd place medals while the Italians were obviously rewarded with 1st place medals and the golden cup. I am not a major soccer fan but this was a truly exciting event! I would like to hear your intakes on the cup and how you felt. thank you!
