A breath of fresh air... but not for long
FINALLY!!!!!
I handed that stupid paper in yesterday--the one about marijuana--and I hope my teacher likes it enough to give me an A.
A girl who sits in front of me, and a repeat offender of Mr. Leopold, told me that her father and grandfather would be proud of me.
I don't know about you, but I think that's a dubious compliment.
Now, as I glance at my more recent entries, I notice that my cynical side seems to be coming out. That is likely to happen more often now, because I'm going to get started on my other paper within the next few days.
The topic: explore five theories behind President Kennedy's assassination.
I saw the Zapruder film, the home video of the very scene where Jack was shot. It was a mite...disturbing. I can automatically rule out the theory that Jackie had a hand in it--she was literally climbing over the back of the car as she tried to find someone who could help her husband.
What my teacher ultimately wants to know is why the government sees that it's all right to hide these crucial facts from the public.
He's also trying to point us somewhere, I think. He keeps on saying that we should 'follow the money'. That leads me to believe that the CIA or the Mafia had a hand in this--probably both!
So, from here on to the end of the month I'm going to be delving into the world of secrets, theories, and conspiracies.
