Laguna Dream Sequence
I've been on a torrent lately with this idea, but I think I'll give it a rest for now.
I was playing FFVIII again today, and I got to the first Laguna dream sequence.
I know. Laugh later. I'm not a hardcore gamer.
My first impression of Laguna was that he was a complete joke.
"Come on, we're fighting a war here!"
"Can't we just go and have a friendly drink?"
It was something like that--I can't remember it exactly.
And then, of course, the battle music. Man with the Machine Gun is the title, and if anyone can help me find a midi file of it I'd be so happy. I'd like to add it to my site.
It's one of my favorite songs on the FITHOS LUSEC WECOS VINOSEC CD. Something about it reminds me of Yanni for an odd reason. Undrestandable, considering that I have two of this man's CDs.
As much as I like Squall--and relate with him, because I'm also socially awkward to nearly that calibur in a situation--I think Laguna is going to usurp him with that title.
A given. He's the resident Bishonen so far.
I'm going to play more tonight. I can't wait to get to the next dream sequence!
