The Pledge of Allegiance
There's just so much hassel over the words 'One nation, under God, indivisible" that it's simply maddening!

Don't get me wrong; I'm for taking the words 'Under God' out of it.

Why?

Because those words were added 70 years ago to separate ourselves from the so-called 'godless Russians' of that era. We were in the midst of the Cold War, and worried over Communism.

People don't realize that the Pledge is no longer in it's original form.

I mean, why would a Socialist put the words 'under God' in something he wrote? The Pledge was written for our allegiance to our flag and country, not to a God of any sort.

It's...maddening.

I'm telling you tht truth. The Pledge was written by a Socialist. Look it up for yourself. I doubt my American Government professor would lie about that.
