Web Journalism
I must thank James for offering this suggestion to me when I PMed him not long ago concerning ways a person can become a journalist. Frankly, since I missed out on the school news paper, I didn't know how else to get the experience. He told me that I could try writing some articles or an online resource for no pay, simply so I could get a taste of deadlines and all of that.

I think it's a good idea, so I've been doing a little research. My findings include a few online pages that are analogous to the printed paper--like the St. Peterburg Times, for example--and a resource for those who are curious about this. I also found that web journalism will be considered for the Pulitzer Prize starting this year. That's really big stuff, if you follow.

I must thank James for that idea, and will do so ASAP.

In the meanwhile, I'll stop. The school library's computer is PMSing on me.
