It's Been So Long...
My my my, it's been a while since I wuz last on here. al has really happened since then. Lets start with UTAustin.

I'm not going. I'm staying here and I'm going to the University of the Incarnate Word. Why? My family. My dad had a heart attack back in April. It wasn't what you think a heart attack would be. There was no clutching the chest in pain, no sudden call for an ambulence. just indigestion. he had been having it since 3 that afternoon and after much convinving from my mom, he finally went to the hospital around midnight or so and the doctors told him it was a mild heart attack. It was a blessing that my mom had read that lingering indigestion could be a heart attack. He's doing much better now, he started goin back to work on july 1st.

Because of his heart attack, I felt that it wouldn't be right for me to leave him for college when I could go to one here. Besides, with him outta work, it's harder to make up the money for living in austin and what not. So at the last minute, I applied to the University of the Incarnate Word.

Yeah, that was up til may. I graduated this june... it still sounds weird, saying that i graduated. Crazyness. Yeah, again, I'll try and put pics from my graduation nite up.

I went to Disneyland!!!! My mom, dad, sisters and nieces and my "brother-in-law" went. My dad didn't go to Disneyland tho. My mom went to help take care of my nieces and my dad stayed at his aunt's house. I wuz fun. I luuuuuuuvvvvvvvvv California. Especially where my family is at. OOOOO!!!! guess who my cuz and I saw at Disneyland!! Peter Pan!! XD YAY!!!!!! Peter Pan has been our favorite Disney movie & one of our fav. characters (the other being Sleeping Beauty). We were kinda bummed when an employee told us that there's no Peter Pan walking around the park but when we got inside the park (right in front of the back of the train station), there he was!! My cuz got his autograph and we got our pic taken with him. XD It wuz great!!

WEll, yeah, its 3am here and I think I'll go to bed now, Bruce is asleep on his little pillow and he looks soooooooooo cute!! ^.^ (oh yeah, we got a dog too, I'll tell ya'll about him later tho. G'nite!!!

I got into UTAustin!! Woohoo!!! Yay for me!! I got my letter on the 8th and I couldn't wait to tell ya'll (but as ya'll can tell, I had to wait). I'm goin to Austin... I hope.

My dad doesn't want me to leave San Antonio. My mom's kewl with it. SO I'll have to have a talk w/ my dad about going. It's only an hour away, It's not like I'm that far away from home. I'll still be droppin by every now and then. They ain't got nutin to worry about, I'm not a party girl and I don't plan on becoming one... at least I hope I don't become one. (j/k, j/k)

Okay, I've said the holiday thing, now onto movies!!! I saw Boogeyman this weekend. It was pretty good, it gave me and my friend Teresa a good scare so we liked it (we get scared easily so that was part of why we liked it, odd right, we liked a movie cuz it scared us. ^.^) Yeah, it was purty good. Some friends and I spent the day at the Rivercenter mall downtown on Friday after skewl. It was fun. This coming friday we might go do karaoke at some restaurant. Sounds fun. ^.^

Okay, I stayed up until midnight trying to find out when the year would actually be in the book Brave New World until I finally gave up and went to bed. This morning when I walked into class and blah blah blah, we got into discussing the book, Martinez says that he wanted to see if any of us could get the year. He did it in college but he himself couldn't remember what they did to get the approximate year. I thought to myself, 'You frickin crack. I stayed up, not wanting to go to bed, reading the damn chapter over and over to try and find any hint of what they year might be nowadays and you don't even know the answer?!?!' I was pretty mad. But oh well, I got him back though.

Tomorrow (Feb. 4, 2005) is the deadline for the Ford Salute to Education Scholarship and I was working on the last essay question when I remembered that I needed a teacher recommendation. So I decided to ask Martinez to write one for me. He asked when I need it and I said, "By the end of the day." then he asked when it's due. "Tomorrow." :D "Samantha!! Why do you always wait until the last minute to do these things?" So yeah, it was kinda my fault but oh well, he sat on his computer and typed it up and had it to me by the end of 2nd period. SO yeah. Tomorrow, I'm gonna mail it in (it only has to be postmarked by tomorrow). So yeah.

Okay, well, I'm watching the Spurs game and tryin to do my homework for English (Brave New World Ch. 3) so I guess I'll go for now. Talk to ya'll later! Bai!

Hey howdy hey again!! Well, this time I'm writing from my home computer. I have a question. Has anyone read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley? If you have can somebody puh-leeeeeezzzzzzzzzeee answer me this question?? What is the year? (okay, i got that part, A.F.632) When would this be using our present date system? <<<
Anywaiz, my friend Jessica was one of the people that got to go to the zoo in this great weather that we had today and she brought my friend Vanessa an elephant that you see made from that plastic mold. Yeah. It's a little machine that you put what, $3.00 in (I might be waaayyyy off but still) When I saw it, it looked kewl but after a while, I told Vanessa that it looked like a piece of crap cuz of it's color. (light brown) So she decided to name it Cuz Crapper. After Thomas Crapper, inventor of the modern flush toilet according to KONO 101.1 and cuz cuz she has this crew called the cousin crew and since Jessica's a cuz, she named it Cuz. So welcome to the world, Cuz Crapper!!!

Hey howdy hey ya'll!! ^.^ Again on the laptop in Physics. It looks ugly outside, which is kewl with me. There are gray clouds outside and they're telling us here in San Antonio, "Haha, I'm gonna rain on ya'll." The wind's blowing too so its even colder outside. I luv it. ^.^ I like it when it's rainy and cold, nice change from frickin hot and dry. But yeah, enough about the weather here, let's move onto my friends out in this weather instead of being at skewl!!! Haha, bastards. One of the biology teachers took all of her classes on a field trip to the zoo and she had extra permission slips so some people from other classes got to go to. Except me and my friend Vanessa. We are big fans of the zoo. We always wanna go. So when a lot of our friends said they were going, we were like, "damn ya'll" But today we were laughing at them cuz it ain't really zoo weather today. So we're telling them "Haha, losers." But yeah, anyway, I'm just ramblin on about random things. Stage 1 of hyperness, talk about stupid things. :D I just ate a macademia cookie w/ white chocolate and very sugary. so yeah, I'm starting to get kinda hyper. By lunch in about 20 minutes, I should be bouncin off the walls. Oh yeah, I also had a gatorade earlier so that should give me a lot more energy. Heheh, it's funny what Gatorade does to me. It actually give me energy to do things in the morning, which is how I'm so awake and lively during 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th periods and sleepy in 5th, 6th, and 7th periods. ^.^ Yeah.

So!!! Did ya'll see that Spurs game? Hahaha! we beat seattle 103-84. It woulda been 103-79 but Seattle scored a few points before the end of the game (a 3 & then a 2 pointer). We rock!! They play next in L.A. against the Lakers on.... hmmmm, I think it's Thursday.

Well yeah, we have about 10 minutes left so I guess I'll stop here. Talk to ya'll lataz. Bai!!! ^.^

Hey howdy hey ya'll!! I'm writin to ya'll from my Physics class cuz I'm bored and there's nothin to do. Ya know what I want?? Tacos. I told my friend that I'd call my mom and tell her to bring us tacos. Mmmmmmm...... I love tacos, esp. bean and cheese and bacon and egg. My friend like Carne Guisada with cheese, which is purty good. We have lunch next but they don't serve tacos and we don't have an open campus (nobody would come back ^.^, kinda sad once ya think about it). I'll call my mom & tell her to pick us up to go across the street and get tacos or ask her to pick up some and bring them to us.

Okay, I'm just makin myself hungrier and hungrier. I just sent in my second essay for UTAustin and since a representative is coming to school tomorrow to pick up any other parts of the application, I'm gonna save myself some money and give her my application fee waiver and transcript. I think she'll take the Longhorn Opportunity Scholarship papers to.

Hey howdy hey!!! How're ya'll doin?? I'm okay, here on my computer at 1:32 a.m. Texas time. I have no clue what to write. I had something I wanted to say but I forgot what it was I wanted to say. Has that ever happened to ya'll? Don't you just hate it? I do. It' annoys me so much. Ah well, just hafta think of something else to say.

Oh! Great news ya'll!!! My sister finally left her asshole of a boyfriend!! (excuse the language, but with him, there's no holding back... except when it comes to the urge to beat the crap outta him, everyone holds back at that point). No she's moving outta the apartment she was in and coming back to live with us. That's so kewl!!! The only bad thing is that she has a cat and I'm allergic to them but my niece is just too attached to him to let him go, so, I'll have to live with it (hopefully just through the summer, then i'll move for college).

Oh yeah! my parents are finally gonna teach me how to drive!! Yay for me!! (actually, I know how to drive a bit, they just don't know that... 0:) ). but first, they want me to read & study the driver's handbook and get my permit, which is kewl with me. There are things I have to learn (LOTsa things).

Yeah, so, I gotta go, kinda getting sleepy here. I'll talke to ya'll again later!! Bai!!!

HEY HOWDY HEY PEOPLE!!!! Guess what!! I'm not dead or disappeared. ^.^ I just haven't been online much. The school year always keeps me so busy and although I've been on vacation since Dec. 17, I've been kept busy at home. So yeah. A late Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!!! ^.^
Well, how were ya'll's holidays?? Mine were kewl. I got the Fruits Basket DVD Box Set!!! ^.^ So happy. and on New Year's we sat outside and watched everyone else pop their fireworks while my niece, cousin and I had the sparklers. It was soooooooooo smokey outside. My dad made chicken and beef fajitas on his new Bar-B-Q pit and I made cheese dip. It was soooooooooooo good!!! ^.^ yummy.
But ya know what sucked? I got my wisedom teeth pulled out on the 29th of Dec. but hell, that didn't even keep my down for long!!! ^.^ I had 6 of them, 2 on top, 4 on the bottom. So when I had them taken out, my mom was hoping that she would have at least 3 days of quiet from me. HA!!!! she got 3 hours max. The bleeding from my teeth had stopped that day. I only had to change the gauze in my mouth once and I didn't need it anymore. The next day, I was bouncing around the house again with only my jaw aching a bit. I didn't eat solid foods for the next 2 days though. I recovered quick and my mom was kinda upset cuz she had wanted me to shut up for a few days but hell, nothin can shut me up for long.
Well yeah, I doubt ya'll care about my teeth so I'll just go on. Hmmmmm...... I 've been working like hell on my essay for UT Austin but I just can't get it going (oh by the way, did ya hear they won the Rose Bowl?? 38-37 against Michigan. Hell yeah!!!). I think it's coming to me more now. I just gotta get it in by the deadline (feburary 1, 2005) and send in a few other things.
My god, its 2005 already. I'm gonna graduate in June and by September I'll be in college. Isn't it weird how time passes by so quickly?? I wanna go back to being a baby. When I could just laze around al day, play, have my parents do whatever I wanted, and my sisters to. ^.^ No worrying about school or college or anything like that. Ah well. I had my chance. Only one way to go now, forward.
Yeah well, I guess I'll let ya'll go now. It's been one hell of a year in 2004, let's make 2005 ONE HELL OF A YEAR!! ^.^

Wuts up!!!!!! It's been a while since I wrote here. (damn skewl, & what not) But I have a buncha news for ya'll!

1- I got a 960 on my SAT's. Pretty good for my first time.... as compared to my friends.
2- I no longer wanna go to UT Austin, I wanna go to Minnesota State University Moorhead!!! ^.^
3- I applied to the El Futuro Scholarship offered by LULAC and KRAFT foods and just got a letter today saying that I didn't get it. *sigh* :(
4- I'm now in the process of applying to Minnesota State, UT Austin, St. Edward's, and UTSA (my absolute last choice)
5- I got new glasses and now look better than I have before.
6- I didn't cry during our Senior Circle this past friday.
7- I held the Kennedy flag during Senior Circle.
8- Our football team got into this huge fight during the Sam Houston game 2 fridays ago. (It was a bad ass fight) :D I'll scan and post the articles from our paper here later.
9- We beat Memorial and there were no fights this past friday, thank god. Lotsa rumors, none were true thankfully.

Well, gotta go, til I get on next year (j/k) BAI!!!!

Ugh, kill me now. I'm sick! Dammit, dammit, dammit! *kicks wall like Akito from Kodocha* I hate it when I'm sick. It ain't really that bad but i just hate being sick. I have a really bad sore throat, can't talk, and my allergies are killing me right now. And I gotta game to go to tomorrow!! It's agaisnt Lanier (if ya'll go back to some posts last year, you'll see/remember that Lanier was the school that got our school disqualified from the football district playoffs). So yeah, I'd better be good enough to go tomorrow. I hope so.
Oh yeah! about the alice costume thing. I think I'll put it off for next year, I just stalled long enough and with my knowledge of a sewing machine (which is nonexistant) and my excellent handsewing skills (it took me a week to make an old pair of jeans into a skirt), I just decided to buy some fairy wings and use my prom dress from last year. Yeah, that'll look good. WEll, gotta go I'm dead tired bai!!
