Hello All!
Hi Peoples! Today was the second day of state testing for my school...well actually I only do the "practice" testing. Anyways I got out of school at noon today! Whoohoo and I had really easy classes. Tonight I'm gonna go over my dad's house to hang out and he's gonna buy me Final Fantasy 3 for my DS Lite! I know how I've been telling you guys about my new story well I'm gonna put the first chapter in this post. If you guys like it please let me know. I know it still needs some revising but let me know what cha think okay?
Chapter on to my currently untitled story! Name suggestions are also welcome!
My name is Blair, I live on 182 Lochart Blvd. in Suffield, Connecticut. And I am here to tell you about my life and the boy who moved in next door...
It was Saturday morning, I woke up at about eleven. I didn't bother getting dressed and just stayed in my purple tank top and fuzzy blue pants with frogs and lily pads all over them. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, my footsteps heavy as I stretched my arms out, rolling my head back and giving my other joints a good stretch to try and wake me up. It really was a hopeless effort though, I am usually half asleep until at least forty-five minutes after I wake up, especially on the weekends.
I walked into the kitchen, my eyes half closed and sat down at the island in the middle of the kitchen. My vision was somewhat fuzzy as I poured myself a bowl of Fruity Pebbles and took the bottle of milk from beside my sister. I poured in a lot of milk and then grabbed a spoon from a nearby drawer and began to eat, "Why do you eat so much?"
I turned and looked grumpily at my younger sister, "Because I can!"
She pouted slightly before sticking out her tongue, "You know you'll just get fat one of these days."
I rolled my half closed eyes, "You know that's not true."
I had the worlds highest metabolism not to mention that I loved sports and other activities as well as I can probably be one of the most hyper people on the planet provided I am around the right friends. I lazily spooned the sugary cereal into my mouth, slowly chewing with very little effort. To put it simply, I ate like a turtle, "I told you that staying up and watching that movie was bad. I knew you wouldn't get to sleep after watching the Ring."
I scoffed, "Oh who the hell are you? My mother? You can't tell me what to do!"
Just then my mother came in looking very angry, "Blair, how many times have I told you not to use such language around your sister?! You know that's not good for her to hear and could influence her to bad things. Besides, she's only looking out for your well being, you should be nicer to her!"
My sister smirked evilly before putting on her best angel face and turning to our mother, "That's right mommy, I was only trying to make sure that my dear big sister had a good night sleep so that she would be awake when she went out to with her friends. But I just got yelled at!"
She burst into tears dramatically. My mother walked over to her and gave her a hug, "It's okay sweetie, I'm sure that Blair didn't mean it. Say sorry to your sister."
My mother stared me down firmly until I gave in, "Fine! I'm sorry Tarin OK?"
I got up, not even bothering to finish my cereal, what a shame. I put my bowl into the sink and grabbed a mug from the cabinet. I poured some coffee into the mug and them put some french vanilla flavored creamer and a lot of sugar. The coffee was almost white by the time I was done putting everything in. I took a slow sip to avoid burning my mouth and smiled, perfect. I turned around and headed into the living room where I sat down on the couch crossing my legs Indian style and grabbing the remote. I flipped through the channels and found absolutely nothing to watch so I flipped to channel 60 and started to watch Animal Planet, which was currently showing Emergency Vets.
I watched the show growing somewhat interested as more serious animal injuries began to be shown. But it was also pretty sad because half of the animals on this episode died. You were about to change the channel when you saw that Animal Cops Houston was on. I watched alittle longer until I saw that it was only a case on illegal chicken fights, I mean who the hell would want to breed a chicken and then train it to kill other chickens? That is just plain stupid.
I flipped the channel then to 39, Court T. V which was showing Forensic Files. I always loved a good murder and seeing how the person died and how they found out who had killed these people and how. It was my dad who had originally got me into this show, other than that I don't know why I watch it. I sat intently, sipping at my coffee for a good fifty minutes. Totally quiet and now fully awake. I was about to find out if the woman who supposedly murdered her husband was going to be convicted and put it jail but suddenly the TV went off with that funny zapping sound that always irritated me. I jumped up, spilling hot coffee all over myself and turned around, "Hey what giv-oh!"
Standing there right behind the couch was my mother looking very displeased, a small family consisting of a woman, man and a boy my age standing at a distance behind her, "Blair, I thought that I told you to get ready for our guests a half an hour ago!"
I rubbed the back of my head sheepishly, "Oh really did you now? I must not have heard you..."
My mother rolled her eyes at me and tapped her foot on the ground, "Well go get ready, and make it snappy, I don't want to have to keep the guests waiting any longer than they already have."
I tilted my head to the side in question, "Oh? Just how long have they been waiting might I ask?"
"Well I've been trying to get you attention for the past ten minutes but you seemed to have zoned out watching that deranged show of yours. You weren't with us at all until we shut off the TV"
I shrugged, a blush of embarrassment crossing my cheeks, "Oops, I'm sorry..."
Mother shook her head and sighed, "It's fine just go."
She quickly shooed me away with her hand and went back to talking to the family. I jumped over the back of the couch and ran up the stairs into my room where I quickly changed into a black t-shirt and some jeans before quickly running a brush through my hair. I ran down the stairs and into the back yards where everyone was siting on the patio having some light conversation. Upon seeing me my mother stood up and led me over to the family, "This is my daughter Blair."
The all smiled and said hello except for their son who just nodded. The man stood up, "Hello, my name is Damien Whittenson, this is my wife Syria and my son Chase."
I tried my best to be friendly as I smiled and shook each of their hands but the glare Chase was giving me would have put anyone in a sour mood. The lunch went fine for the most part, our parents made some small talk while me and Chase had a glaring contest. When lunch was over Chase stood up to leave with his parents, and that was the first time I was actually able to get a good look at him.
He wore a pair of regular jeans with some black sneakers and a black shirt that said, 'rest assured, no one cares.' He had a handsome and rebellious face with the most piercing blue eyes I have ever seen. His hair was cut in the regular emo style, short in the back with long bangs fringed to one side. And as much as I hated to admit it, he was really cute.
I said good-bye to his parents and waved briefly before turning to help my parents clean off the table.
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. My parents helped the Wittensons move furniture and other various items into their house while I stayed home, saying that I would watch Tarin, but really I just couldn't stand to be within 20 feet of that stupid, obnoxious Chase!
I made dinner for my parents and went to bed without eating, not really feeling hungry after pigging out on junk food after I was told not to. I quickly scurried up to my bedroom where I got into some new pajamas, which were basically a black tank top and some black pajama pants with silver dragons swirling around them. I went over to my computer and started typing to my best friend on aim.
XxMissMurderxX: Hey Catrina.
XxLaCatrinaxX: Hey Blair.
XxMissMurderxX: Oh my god, a family finally moved in next door to us!
XxLaCatrinaxX: Oh really? They got any cute guys?
XxMissMurderxX: Actually they do...
XxLaCatrinaxX: Seriously? Oh wait, what's his malfunction, you'd only tell me if there was something wrong with him.
XxMissMurderxX: He's a major @$$ with a huge superiority complex, I just wanna strangle him!
XxLaCatrinaxX: Oh I see, well he's not my type anyway...so sad...
XxMissMurderxX: *rolls eyes*
After that the conversation was basically a totally and randomly spontaneous. At about 10 we finally decided to call it a night. I looked up from my computer to see a light on next door and what do you know, King Superior's room is right across from mine, oh joy. I just my light off and his was soon shut off as well. I was about to shut down my computer when I saw him open a door, it looked to be a closet, but it was glowing! No not like when there is a light on I mean like freaky alien portal glowing. I stood up almost knocking my computer chair over to get a better look as he stepped inside the light.
I just stared at what I saw, mouth agape, not entirely believing what I had just seen. I shook my head lightly and walked over to my bed and lay down trying to sleep, but the door haunted me all night, "What the hell is up with that god damned door!?"
