Wowwwwww..... I haven't been here in ages!!

So, I want to apologize for not keeping in touch with you all on here. I've been extremely busy with my family visiting (still here btw), and then I started summer classes about a week ago. Oh good grief!! This class is killing me!! I'm averaging six chapters a week, a paper a week, and my final paper AND PowerPoint presentation is due two weeks from now. The work load is insane, and I seriously have not touched Photoshop or anything anime/manga related this whole month (and much of June). -______-

So, guess I'm trying to say that you all won't be hearing from me much now that I'm in school. I go on Facebook every other night or so, but only for about 5-10 minutes. So if you want to keep in touch with me, you can reach me there (email: stixx2008@yahoo.com). Otherwise, I have no idea when I'll be on here next.

I'm sorry for not keeping in touch. Hopefully this fall semester won't be as crazy, but I kinda doubt it. I'll be working two jobs and going to school full time, so my free time will be close to zero. Sigh... I can't wait to graduate.

So I give hugs to you all! Hopefully you all are doing well.

Sigh... Now to work on my next paper. I'm sort of "taking a break." Lol! I guess that's what people call procrastinating?? >.<

Holiday! Holiday!! Thank you King Kam dude...
So yeah, as the title explains, I'M OFF TODAY!!!! akdm o[aid a;lnf@!!!!!!!! Yes, I'm that happy. >.< Today's a state holiday: King Kamehameha Day. I'm actually surprised my boss gave us the day off, not that I'm complaining or anything. Just surprised.

So, I'll TRY to comment and stuff around here and TheO. No promises though. My day is going to be packed. I'm going to be doing lots of my weekend cleaning since my relatives and I are climbing Diamond Head on Saturday. Then later this afternoon we're going to Kahala to see dolphins. Phew...so busy. But I'll try to comment when I get some time.

So I'm off to go clean! Everyone have a great week and weekend!! I heart you all!

Hello all and thank you for the wonderful comments!! Ha ha! I wasn't surprised to find a few of you like my handwriting! I didn't even think about my showing my handwriting, but meh, at least some people like it! >.< And thanks for the comments on my aiming. I'm actually not that good. It took me so many shots before I actually hit the mangos down. Ha ha!

Anyways, how was everyone's week? Enjoying your summer break (for those who are on break)? I've been doing pretty well. The week went by slower than I expected, but I think it's because things have slowed down at my job.

I've got some good news though! First off, my aunt and cousins are here!! I'm so happy! They've been trying since LAST Saturday to fly over here, but they kept getting bumped off. See, my uncle's in the military (currently deployed) so my aunt and cousins get to fly free on those cargo flights, but because they're dependents and not active military, they get put at the bottom of the list as passengers. It really sucks because they were getting up around five every morning to catch a flight and there flights either got cancelled or were too full. Then on Thursday they actually got on the plane but had to get off when some military dudes got on at th last minute!! My aunt couldn't afford to have her and her three kids fly over here on a commercial flight, so it was either get a free flight or none at all. Oh well, it worked out in the end.

So now they're hanging out at my place. They'll be here for the whole summer! I'm really excited since I haven't seen them since moving to Hawaii back in 2003. Right now they're taking a tour of the island with my grandparents while I helped my mom clean the house. Three little kids (the oldest is seven) can sure dirty up a house!!

So yeah, I'm gonna be busy this summer. Thankfully I don't start school until July, but I really wish I could take some time off from work, which isn't going to happen anytime soon. I already have one coworker out for vacation and my boss is getting ready to leave for several weeks as well. There's no way I'm getting time off anytime soon. -_____- Oh well, at least I have the weekends to spend time with my relatives.

My second bit of good news is that my brother FINALLY got a new pickup truck. He's been needing one for the past year, and so on Thursday he finally got one. It's a white Chevy Silverado C1500. He LOVES it!! Even though it's older (2001), it's a lot better than the old clunker that he used to have. Right now he's tripping out over the sound system, which as WONDERFUL bass in it. I'm almost envious! >.< So I gotta get a picture of it when it gets all fixed up. Right now there are a few dents and stuff that need to be worked on, but my neighbor is already got plans to fix that. Now that my brother has a new vehicle, I'm looking around for one. My friend is selling her 2005 Mazda 5, which I've been eyeballing. So we'll see... hee hee...

To me it looks like they're copying Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel. Both Tokio Hotel and Cinema Bizarre are German bands and the members are around the same age. *shrugs shoulders*

I don't dislike Cinema Bizarre's music...yet...but I'm not sure if I actually like it...yet. Does that make sense? <--weirdo

Awwww!! It's so good to hear from you all again! Thank you everyone for taking the time to stop by and say hello. Lol! Thank you Somegirl for the compliment on my avatar. ^.^ I love Angela Aki's music, so I thought I'd use her for my new avatar.

So anyway, my week went by rather quickly. I think the holiday on Monday had something to do with it. Speaking of holidays, how was everyone's Memorial day? I was planning on going to the beach, but that plan fell through. So my brother, our friend, and I went down to the stream near our house (the one that flooded back in December) and poked around. We caught some crayfish and fresh water shrimp, which I cooked up. I was going to eat them but my neighbor wanted to try some, so I gave it to him. Oh well, next time...

Then a buddy of my dad's came over to shoot his pellet gun. My dad and brother both are really into pellet guns, and since we don't need a gun permit to shoot air guns here, it's pretty much target heaven on our property. We have small targets set up EVERYWHERE!! So on Monday, my brother let me use his little QB pellet gun he's been working on, and it was love at first site. It's simple and light, and I can actually use the darn thing (all the other guns are too heavy and the scopes are too hard for me to use <--stupid). So, I decided to shoot mangos out of our mango tree! Ha ha! It was so much fun! I shot a bunch of them down (ate most of them too). Here's a few pictures:

Lol! Pwnage!! >.< After hitting the darn thing so many times, I was finally able to hit the mango down. It tasted pretty good once I picked all the bullets out.



My goal was to cut the stems on the mangos, which is hard when the wind is blowing. So when I miss, I ended up hitting the mangos instead. Bleh...

So anyways, other than that, my week was pretty normal. Work has finally slowed down, but I'm still staying busy (not insanely so, thank goodness).

I decided to join an art challenge! Lol! My first one too. It's one by playitbakinslomo, and it has to deal with realism. Well, since that's what I'm focusing on, I thought it would be a good challenge for myself. I also decided to join since the due date isn't until the end of August. I SHOULD have plenty of time...but we'll see. >.<

I'm also going to put up two more desktop calendars later today. I want to finish up some commenting first since it's been a few days I last did that.

So yeah, that's pretty much it. Oh! I took off my imeem playlist since now it only plays 30 seconds. I think that's just annoying. So I'm stick with youtube videos. I really like that song by The Plain White T's. It's so cute!!

I'm baaaaaaaack!!!

Yes. I am still alive (barely), thanks for asking. The last couple weeks surrounding my final exams were insane, and I get tired just thinking about it. All in all though, my spring semester ended well. So far I know I've got two A's. I'm actually quite surprised. One of the A's was from my financial accounting class, which I struggled with the most (Ha ha! Accounting is my major! I'm screwed...). The final exam was cumulative, and we went over the last chapter four days before the exam. -___- I spent all weekend studying THREE chapters when it was over TEN. Ha! Yeah...it was that bad. But apparently I got a good grade. Good enough to land me an A anyway. Who am I to complain?

As for my other two classes, I find out what my final grades will be next week. I'm pretty confident I'll end up with at least three A's this semester. There's one marketing class that I did bare minimum so I'm settling for a C. >.<

As for my work, I FINALLY got my insurance license!! *does happy dance* It took eight exams and lots of paper work but I'm offically licensed to sell insurance, well, for houses and cars anyway. I gotta work on getting my license to sell life and health insurance.

I've also been hired full time now! Yay! I'm happy about that. Now I can really get into the work flow, build good customer relationships, and be more useful around the office. I mean, I did a lot of work before, but now I'm really able to make sales. It's been tough though. I'm always asking my coworkers and boss for help, and though they're always willing to assist me, I feel guilty in taking up so much of their time. I need help with everything!! From doing a simple quote to answering questions that customers throw at me. It's been a good learning experience though, and I'm definitely learning a lot...despite all the mistakes I've made! Ha ha!!

So yeah, that's pretty much what I've been doing during my absence from TheO and MyO. I haven't done much art or wallpapers, which I really regret. I wish I had more free time to do those, but I come home so tired that I don't want to do anything! Except sleep. Yeah. I love sleep now. I used to stay up until 1:00am, and now I'm out by 10:00pm. Ha ha! That just makes me sound old.

I have determined though to stick with my desktop calendars. I think they're a great idea, and it gives me an excuse to do SOMETHING in regards to art. I'll also have a reason to get on here and TheO to comment and stuff. That reminds me, I'll probably be doing most of my commenting and posting on the weekends now. I don't have much free time during the week days.

Let's see...what else...Oh!! Sorry for the crappy look on MyO! Ha ha! I'm in the middle of doing my own coding, and it's a VERY slow process. I'm trying to do CSS coding...from scratch! Considering the retard that I am (when it comes to computers), it'll be a while before I have a decent layout. This look will have to do for now. Do you all like the background? It's a picture my grandmother took a while back. We've got lots of trees here that flower, so that's one of them. I did some editing in Photoshop, so it looks sketchy, but you can still see the flowers...I think. *checks out the homepage* Yeah you can!

All right. It's time for me to catch up on some commenting. I'm gonna post of two more desktop calendars for May. Shoots. This month is almost over, but I hate to have made the wallpapers and not share them. Bah.

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all the comments on my desktop calendars and my latest post. You all are so great!

This is just going to be a quick post. Most of you have probably figured out from my week-long absence that I haven't been around here much. I've been super busy with school and work. It seems I've got at least one major project or paper due every week until my semester ends.

*sighs* So I'm probably not going to comment and stuff until school finishes. I've just been too busy cramming in school work, studying like mad, and trying to get my insurance license at work. Speaking of insurance license, the whole process in obtaining it has been going rather smoothly. I've just got a few exams to take through my company and I'm waiting for a reply from the state (submitted my state license application last week). My goal is to get all exams done by this week. XD .... DX

So yeah, I apologize for not being more active here. I promise to catch up once school finishes (around second week of May)! And yeah, I'm so NOT taking summer courses. PUH-LEES!! This semester was crazy enough. I'm not adding on the stress. Ha ha!

Eh howzit? Thanks to everyone who helped me with the anime/manga birthdays, and a special thanks to Caprish *hugs* for sending me a link to that website. It's got a TON of birthdays on there! There's no way I'll be able to make calendars for ALL the characters, but it sure gives me lots of options to choose from! ^.^

So how's everyone doing so far?

My spring break was, well, not much of a break. I ended up working some over time, but at least I'll get a bigger pay check this thime! My two of my coworkers were out sick and my boss is on vacation, leaving me and one other person in the office. -____- It was a nightmare. We ended up closing the office on Thursday since we were so understaffed. Good thing it was a state holiday so it didn't seem weird.

Then Friday I went to take my mom shopping since she doesn't drive. I had a rather interesting experience: my car died on me while I was in the middle of an intersection. Holy cow did that scare me! Not sure what happened. I was just getting ready to turn onto the main road when my car just died. Luckily no one rear ended me and I was able to quickly pull over. To add to that, my car died right in from of a mechanic shop! Ha ha! The same one where I get my car checked!! So my mechanic walked out and checked my car, which ran perfectly fine after I turned it back on. It was really creepy, and I so frustrated. So my dad and I are going to check my engine, poke at all the lines, and double check everything. Since I know next to nothing about cars (except changing my oil), it'll be a good learning experience for me. Sigh... I just need to get a new car. >.<

Now I'm back to school and missing spring break already. Gah! Yesterday I got a few emails and my professors oh-so-lovingly decided to throw a few projects at us. -___- Now I've got a group projec to work on, a database to create, and a paper to write. That's just for two classes. Boy! I can't wait until this semester is finished!

As for my art, I'm getting ready to put up two desktop calendars. Both characters have their birthdays on April 1, so I made it just in time! Please check them out.

I'm BACK!!!!!

So some of you may have noticed (or not) that I'm back on TheO and MyO. I tried catching up on commenting and stuff. Boy have I missed a lot! I felt really bad for not keeping in touch with you all, especially since a lot of you commented on my posts! *hugs you all* You all are awesome!!

So what have I been up to lately? Well, like I said in my last post, it was midterms for me, and I took those two insurance exams that I failed the first time. So I had been studying all week (trying to at least), desparately catching up on homework (took me six hours last Saturday to get half way caught up), and working more hours at my job. So I had no days off like I'm supposed to (hence the reason why I didn't post on Friday like I wanted to). Blah.

It was all worth it though. This past Friday I retook those two exams I had failed the first time, and I PASSED!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I barely studied, crammed the night before, and I PASSED!!!! Oh man, was I so happy. The downside was that I rescheduled for the exams at 8am, so Honolulu traffic again. Eww... So, I was up at 5am, took my exams, went to work, then got home and started my last midterm at around 6pm. Didn't finish my midterm until 9pm. Good grief was I exhausted. I think my brains had oozed out of my head on Friday.

So, I took a break this past weekend. Got caught up on house chores and pretty much chilled. What made it even better is that this week is SPRING BREAK!!!! *dances around* I'm SOOOOOOOOO glad for this break from school!!!! This means I have more time now for TheO and MyO. You all will definitely be hearing more from me. ^.^

So that pretty much sums up my past couple of weeks.

I don't have anything planned for spring break except to relax and work on getting my insurance license. Now that I passed the exams, I qualify to apply for a license. Insane, isn't it? >.<

I've also got some ideas for wallpapers. I've decided to make desktop calendars! I'm working on one for April, and hopefully I'll get that done this week. The plan was to find an anime/manga character that had a birthday in April and use that character as the theme. I couldn't find one, so I just made the theme a spring-ish one. If any of you know an anime/manga character with a birthday in April, let me know. I can always make another wallpaper.

I also discovered I've been promoted to Senior Otaku+. How crazy is that? I'm gone for several weeks and I get promoted. Is TheO trying to tell me something?

Well, I'm off to eat lunch, and then it's work. Hopefully I can get some days off this week!!

Well, I just got back from my exams. Sad to say, I didn't pass all the tests like I wanted, but I got half of it out of the way! >.<

Technically, I took four exams this morning, each one being about an hour long. I failed on one state law exam by one question, and another exam on general property information by a few questions. Bah! Surprisingly though, I don't feel as bad as I thought I would. I think it's because I'm just glad I got the whole thing done and overwith. Plus I know which questions gave me such a hard time, so I know how to study when I retake the exams. Who knew insurance could be so complicated?

So anyways, I'm gonna reschedule tomorrow and hopefully I'll pass the two tests I failed today. This time I'm NOT scheduling an 8:00am appointment. I had to get up at 5am just to get to the office in time since the testing center is in the middle of Honolulu. Let me tell you, morning traffic is HORRIBLE!!!

I do have to apologize though. I won't be able to visit everyone today since I gotta catch up on school work. I didn't do any homework this weekend, and now I've got several days worth of work to do. And a report to finish...er...start and it's due on Friday. So, I'll try to catch up on what's going on around here later this week.

Oh! One more thing. THANK YOU to all who sent warm wishes for my exams. I really appreciated them!! You all are great! *hugs*

Hey everyone!

Sorry for not being on here in such a long time. I just finished up midterms for school, and now I've got to take a couple state insurance exams this coming Tuesday. Since I'll be studying for that (the exams are 4 hours long!!), I won't be able to comment and stuff until later in the week. Hopefully I can get a proper post up later.

So yeah, school and work have been the reason for my absence. And Resistance. I have to admit that game has taken up a few hours of my night. >.< Speaking of Resistance, if anyone has that game for the ps3 and you play online, let me know. I'd like to play a few games with you and perhaps chat a bit. ^.^

Anyways, I promise to catch up on commenting later this week after my exams. Hopefully I won't fail. *crosses fingers*
