Hello all my dear friends! How was your weekend? Filled with candy and parties? Mine was pretty normal, except I've been watching lots of movies. Chinese films to be more exact, which I rented from Blockbuster (I love it how our local Blockbuster is filled with foreign films).

On Friday night I watched "Re-cycle," which is kinda scary. It's not a horror movie but it's got parts in there that really spook you. I have to admit, it's my total favorite so far! The story is awesome and the ending completely took me by surprise. I even cried towards the end. >.< There were some corny parts to the movie, like the zombie people, which looked pretty fake (I just laughed when I saw them). Still though, I really enjoyed the movie.

On Saturday night I watched "Mongol," which is more like a documentary on the early life of Genghis Khan. Not the most exciting movie, but it provides a good insight on the Mongolian life and culture of that time period. Let's just say I'm sooooooo thankful I wasn't born as a Mongolian in that time period. They had a TOUGH life.

Then lastnight I watched "Legend of the Black Scorpion," which is supposed to be a loose adaption of Hamlet. I liked the movie well enough. Everything had a dancing quality to it, especially the fighting scenes. The storyline was interesting, if not filled with deceit, murders, and sad endings. Your typical court life in ancient China.

Wow...I didn't mean to turn this post into a movie review!! >.< Maybe I'm subconsciously practicing for my next English essay (I have to compare and contrast two movies).

Anyways, to blatantly change the subject, I'm not going to be commenting much today. I've got a test to study for...which I take tonight. Ha ha!! Yes, this is procrastination at it's finest. So I've decided to confine myself to my room and study all day. Doesn't that just sound oh-so exciting!!!!!!!! Of course you're jealous that I'll be studying about statistics all day because we all know that finding probablities and calculating the standard deviation by hand is the most exciting thing ever!!! [Am I making you barf with my sarcasm?]

Anywho, you all have a great day and great week. You'll hear from me later. ^.^

Because I like this movie and I love this song. Besides, I heard Russell Crow spent a year taking violin lessons just to play this song.

when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.
