Love Hina: Final Comment
So as not to spoil the end for those who have not yet finished, or have not yet seen Love Hina, I will say the series goes through a set of emotional benders in the last few episodes. Having rooted for Keitaro the entire length of the show, I was not dissatisfied with the final results. I watched the rest of the series (episodes 19 through 24, plus the Christmas and Spring specials) last night.
Keitaro is a lucky guy having an entire harem of girls care about him. Despite all the grief they give him, their true colors shine bright when he needs them. I feel that a couple of the characters (Shinobu and Kitsune in particular) should have reached a greater end, but they can't all reach the perfect destination I suppose.
Every character has some loveable factor, and although I had more connection with Keitaro, I ended up with a wonderful love for everyone. Each character seems to represent some individual state of mind.
Final Comment: Watch Love Hina, relax, and enjoy this beautiful yet humorous romance stroy. |

Ageless: To lucifers wife
It would seem you are quite right about I being a bit above the average age of people on MyO. I noticed this a day or two ago but thought it just a fluke. I thought perhaps I just had not seen many of the people in my age bracket because there are so many people on MyO. But it is of no real consequence to me. I love anime and if there seems to be a shortage of my generation taking interest in anime it is there loss. Respect goes out to all the fans of anime regardless of age. It is a beautiful thing and more should enjoy it.
I feel ageless I guess. I am quite mature, but I love these things of youth. They keep me young at heart and quite content. I know when to be attentive to my responsibilities and when to play. I will forever be one of the Ageless who show the young that you can grow up and still be young. |

Lupin the Third
I picked up another Lupin volume this weekend. I love this show. Lupin makes me laugh alot, and it is the series of anime that my wife has gotten into the most, so I know if I need an anime fix I can put this in and she won't laugh at me for constantly watching anime. She likes anime too, just not everything that I like. I did not get to finish this volume yet, cause I was trying to watch all of Love Hina, so after I have finished it, just like Love Hina, I will leave a final comment. See you round. |

Blood: The Last Vampire
Has anyone else seen Blood: The Last Vampire? When I could not get Samurai Champloo this weekend, I picked up another volume of Lupin the 3rd, and Blood. I watched it that night with my wife, my brother-in-law, and sister-in-law. We were all excited at first, the art was good, the language too, but it lacked something. It took us a little bit to realize the build up of the story was really quick and the climax came quickly, and before we knew it the movie was over. I stared at the screen as the credits rolled, in complete shock. I was horrified at how short it was, kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. I had read that it was a good movie, so I figured what the hell, lets give it a go. I am not saying it was bad, just way too short. If anyone else has seen Blood: The Last Vampire, tell me what did you think? Was the movie short, or am I losing my mind here??? |

Samurai Champloo: Volume 4
I am really unhappy with the businesses around my area. Last week before I got paid all the places I usually buy my anime and manga had at least one copy of Samurai Champloo: Volume 4. But of course when I finally got paid and could go buy it, EVERYBODY WAS OUT! Now I have to wait until it is restocked or order it. This is so dis-heartening. I really wanted to see volume 4. I guess the Love Hina made up for it, but still, the stores should stock more copies of the anime that they buy,not just one or two! On the plus side I will leave a short review of the volume after I get it. And from then on I will leave one for each volume as I get them. Hope you join me on this adventure and leave your comments. |

Love Hina
Alas I did not make it all the way through Love Hina. I got to watch 18 episodes, so I am not done. But I will comment on what I did watch. Keitaro, the main character, is always getting into predicaments where his actions are misunderstood or misinterpreted. Naru, the main supporting character, is a major source of Keitaro's stress. Many of the other girls, too, cause him problems or give him grief, yet he is always there for all of them. I really like all of the characters. The show has quite a bit of class as well. Although it is risqué at times, there is not a bunch of fan service. This gives the show a nice quality. I highly recomend the series based on the 18 episodes I have seen. I typically like really serious stories, but the fun I have had with this one is great. After I finish the rest of the episodes I will leave a final comment, without spoiling the end for those who have not seen the show at all or who have not finished watching it yet. Check it out and enjoy. |

Multi-lingual
I have this idea about education that involves languages. I think that if one is so inclined they can learn alot more about people if they learn their language. I wish, myself, to become fluent in at least 4 other languages. I have not yet set forth a plan for this process.
I want to learn at least one of them before I have any children, this is so that I can encourage them to be as worldly as possible, without them thinking that I am pushing on them something I never did myself, and am there for living myself through them.
I want to learn French, German, Spanish, and most of all I want to learn Japanese. After all if I can understand what is being said I can better enjoy my anime. I won't be focused on the sub-titles so much that I miss all the beatiful art that I love. |

Hellsing
Is anyone outside of the States, or in, a fan of Hellsing? I read an article with the original writers comments, and he was saying he did not think it was very big. This was in Newtype, August 05. |
