Happy Halloween! :D (Okay, kinda late. In England anyway) Unfortunately I didn't do much for Halloween. There were a few parties going on, but I didn't get invited to them ;A; *social reject* 8D;; Anywho, my internet was acting up yesterday, and I have no idea why. It seems to be working now, but it doesn't matter, 'cos I'm still gonna say to my French teacher that the reason I can't hand my coursework in yet is that my laptop is broken o-o *lie* And I think I'll use the same excuse for English and Geography :D
No wonder I'm failing those 2 subjects..
And I'm still waking up at 4.30am D: Dammit I wish this jet lag would go away. I had to play in a hockey match yesterday which I completely failed at x-x Even though we won in the end, my brain isn't fuctioning at all right now.
AND to top off this brilliant week, I have to go into school on Saturday morning to finish one of my ICT projects. For once I'm glad I got replaced for the hockey tournament on Sunday, otherwise all my free time would be down the drain.
Hope you all have a good end to the week <3

Guess who's back
First, I just want to say sorry to those who have signed my guestbook recently. I usually take a few days before I do the same, but I've been on holiday this week so I haven't had a chance. Plus I come back and find theO not working, but that all seems to be fixed now.
But where have I been? On holiday in Australia!! X33 I had always wanted to go to Sydney and my mom got tickets off ebay for the new A380 airbus. I'm sure some of you may have heard about it, especially when it left Singapore on it's first commercial flight. I wasn't on that one, but the one returning to Singapore from Sydney. It was so good! There was so much space in the plane, and first class passengers even got their own freakin' suite! o_o Plus there were tons of movies to choose from.
Sydney was really good as well. I climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge which was definately the best part of the holiday. Me and my mom also went to see an opera at the Opera House, but I was still suffering from jet lag so I was half asleep most of the time. Operas aren't really my thing anyway, but my mom wanted to go, so.. :/ And the weather was good as well, up until the last three days. The A380 flight was delayed for about 2 hours because of thunder and lightening.
But overall it was a great holiday, even if it was only for a week. I really want to go back again for longer though. I feel like we didn't get to see everything we could have. But the manga selection was amazing!! Compared to England, there was so much!! (England has a crap selection of manga. They better get more soon) But since my mom hates the stuff she wouldn't let me buy any which I was mad about. She probably thinks it's rotting my brain :/ I also found copic markers there, something which I've been looking for. You can't get them in England and I was hoping to bring some back. But when I saw the price the answer was a definate no. I'd heard they were expensive, but not as expensive as I'd thought. 60 British pounds for 12!? (about $120) That's a ridiculous price (but I'm sure they're worth it)
I will try to get round to people's sites asap, and I'd like to try and upload art soon as well. I haven't done so for ages, and I keep saying I will but I never do XD

o_o...
Well today was a pretty crap day :D I find out in the middle of the day that all the girls in my year who do hockey have a surprise match, and then for one whole hour of the game I only play for 3 EFFING MINUTES!! SERIOUSLY! I was so pissed off afterwards. I'm probably not the best player out of our group, but there were three other reserved players and ALL of them played a hell of a lot longer than me. What really made me mad was the fact that 2 of the girls playing weren't even in our year group: THEY WERE IN THE FREAKING YEAR BELOW!! I actually felt pretty humiliated at the fact that myself, along with the 3 others had just been replaced by, people who probably aren't even as good at hockey as we are. I understand that the team we played today were tough, but our games teacher is WAY to biased towards the good team members, and the rest of us get treated like dirt.
I think what really pissed me off the most was the fact that I could have done other things during that time, since the game was after lessons had finished and I had arranged to go meet my geography teacher to talk about more important things like coursework. But no. I had to go freeze my ass off watching everyone else play while I just stood on the side lines for the whole of the fucking game. I'm in two minds to go complain to my teacher about this, even though she'll probably kick me off the team for good afterwards. But if all I'm gonna do is watch from afar every single match, I'd rather not be on the team anyway.
Sorry for that rant, it really put me in a bad mood tonight. On a lighter note I seem to be getting my proportions right with my drawings now, and I also found an old lineart I did over the summer, so I started coloring that in too. But for now I have english work to do which is almost a week late 8D;; And it's almost the end of the week too, so lets think positive for the weekend *hugs*

...
Tomorrow is my school's Open Morning, so everyone has to take part somehow - you're either a tour guide for visitors or working in one of the subject departements. Thankfully I'm helping out in the Art departement which I'm very pleased about >3< But personally I'd rather go into town or something. There are very few people who enjoy Open Morning and I'm not one of them.
Keeping on the subject of school, during art class today I overheard some girls talking about how one of the other girls is taking pictures off the internet and claiming them as one of her 'primary sources' for one of her art units for her GCSE. (In other words she's saying that she took all the photographs herself but in reality she's just getting them off google.) That may not seem like a big problem, but it is if she gets caught by the examiners while they look at her pictures. So I'm kinda pissed off at her about that since she is also one of my friends. Plus the other day she showed me some Naruto pictures on her phone claiming 'she' drew them. But earlier I found one of them on Photobucket and possibly another one as well. I'll have to get her to show me the pics again somehow.
I've no idea how she thinks she can get away with this. I think she's the kind of person who gets her own way a little too often so it's all gone to her head. Both her parents are famous comedians here in England, they might even be known in the States, I'm not sure. But if this keeps up I might have to let our art teacher know because she can't get away with this. It's got me pretty angry right now.
I've ranted on enough though for one night. Sorry for boring you ;o

*insert title here*
Ohboy, this week is gonna be so awful for me DX Tomorrow I have a stupid math test which I haven't revised for, and then... I have to worry about my half-assed Geography coursework. Oh joy!! :> My teacher is definately unimpressed with my lack of effort, and so far I'm looking at a D grade for my overall mark if I don't start pulling my weight -.- So yeah, I'm kinda stressed out about that.
I'd also be worried about my ICT coursework, but I really don't care about that anymore. The marking scheme for it is f*cked up and I hate my teacher. I'm considering dropping either ICT or Geography, 'cos I really don't think I can do both. We'll see how everything works out.
I was so relieved for the weekend on friday! I needed a break since I'm behind on homework as well XDD; Curse my laziness. I swore I wouldn't procrastinate on my work this year... *fail'd* Art block as well :( I keep drawing really big heads and tiny bodies 8D wtf? Hopefully I can get my proportion issues sorted soon too. I really wanna use Photoshop DX
One more thing.. I recently discovered that Adobe Imageready can also do animations! HOLYSHIZZ I never knew that! o____o;;; I might have to try it out sometime just for laughs X)
PLUS I will try and get round sites today. I'm so lazy when it comes to commenting on other people ;-;

Thief! :o
Art theft strikes again -.- Haha, yes I'm always on the look out for possible thefts, but here's my most recent one, and the thief is unfortunately on theO :(
http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?action=retrieve&id=208613
http://lucrecia.deviantart.com/art/Howl-Jenkins-20273865
The first link is the stolen artwork, but now that I look at it closer it's actually been traced, but tracing is pretty much the same as stealing. I don't know how to put one picture on top of the other to line them up, but I think you can see just by looking at the two that it has obviously been traced, like the hand, face, etc. But there are other things that confuse me with this. It's like this person just rubbed out the coloring of the original and left the lineart in some cases. For example, if you view the stolen picture in high resolution, if you look at Howl's right arm (you'd view it from the left) then it kinda looks like the thief missed a small spot of the background while erasing it (there's a very fine line, it doesn't stand out that much so you'll have to look closely, but it's definately there.) So, I'm really not sure what exactly has happened with this, but whatever the case it's a stolen piece of artwork so please go report it.
I'm completely against copying fanart anyway. People don't seem to realise that there is a f*cking difference between copying and referencing. And I hate it anyway when I see a copied picture up on the featured part. But when someone traces/steals something then I really put my foot down. It's plagerism no matter how you look at it, and in a way copying fanart is plagerism too. Even if you give credit to the original it's really not acceptable. You at least need permission from the original. It's almost like people don't even care about how the first artist's feels about it and just care about their own benefits and advantages. Seriously people, can we PLEASE try to come up with our own ideas instead of relying on other peoples? I know not everyone copies pictures, and this isn't aimed at you good people. And that last speech isn't meant to harrass anyone. I'm just trying to express my own opinion and hope that people will start changing a little more.
Changing the subject, my mom amazingly let me buy 3 mangas today which I was incredibly pleased about X3 This isn't like her at all o_O She must've been in a really good mood today. One of them was Death Note, and it's so good! Really good plot to it. I can't wait to get the next volumes. Rozen Maiden and Loveless (yay shonen-ai!) were the other two, but I haven't started them yet.
Anyway, sorry if this post bored you stiff -_-;; Haven't had time to draw once again, I had a relative come down on friday and saturday too so that took up some time. And then I had all my homework to do today :D Fun stuff... not. I can't wait for a weekend where I don't have a lot to do. But that probably won't come for a while DX
But, it's almost 10.30pm here so I better go before my mom catches me.
Ciao~

...
Today was INTERNATIONAL 'TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY' 8DDD;; haha, no really. I have some people in my year who are obsessed with pirates, so they decided to make sure that everyone knew what day it was by sticking posters everywhere XD; I'd never heard of it, but then I looked in my homework diary and saw it printed on today's date. So I guess it must be real o-o;; But w/e, I found it amusing XD;
On other notes, I've been getting so much homework this week (and last week) and it leaves me so exhausted >3>; Our homework timetable is f*cked up this year. Sometimes we have to get double the work for one subject, and some teachers don't always know when NOT to give out prep, e.g I have a friend who got 6 preps on one day. They expect us to work for at least 30 mins on each subject so thats 3 hours worth of prep. And with our long school days, if I got that much prep one night, from the time I get home I would be working on it til the time I went to bed =_=;; So yeah, I hope the teachers are more careful next time, and they actually get the days right.
And due to my busyness I haven't had much time on my laptop after school ;A; Today is one of the few nights I didn't have any work. So after this I'd better go visit some people on thO at their sites XD; I'm so lazy.
But it's time to eat now so..
Ciao~

YES!!
FINALLY!! After months and years of waiting, British T.V finally gets a channel completely dedicated to anime!! ;_; Only problem is it's only shown at night and there's only about 4-5 hours broadcasting each day XP Not that I care, I still get time to watch it at night, even with my 9 hour school days (as long as I don't get much homework.) Actually there aren't too many shows that I'm interested except for FMA and Bleach :(
And if that wasn't enough, the new season of Naruto is starting tomorrow =o It's the arc when Itachi first makes his appearance. I think that season just finished in the U.S if I'm not mistaken. Stupid censorship making us here in England wait. Sometimes they edit out the most pointless stuff over here, even more than they do in America >_>
Buuut.. not much else to say today. Still trying to get some ideas about what to draw. I feel like I've gotten worse recently instead of improving :( Oh well..
Ciao for now ;D

*sleep*
Geez, this was the first day of the term when my year had sports... GOD I'M OUT OF SHAPE!! DDDX I chose hockey as my sport for mondays this term and right now I'm starting to regret it XD; I forgot how much stamina I need for it. The teachers work us really hard :( But it was either hockey or swimming, and I'm a crap swimmer XP I look forward to next year when we get more choices for sport though :D
I was hoping to start doing some sketches for once so I could finally upload something, but I'm aching all over and a little shaky ;A; I haven't used Photoshop for aaaages, and I ain't gonna get better if I don't do anything ;o But for now I'd better go make me a bubble bath =_=;;
