Total Visits: 666
Listening To: Go By Flow(Naruto Opening)
Current Series: Samurai Champloo Ep. 7
Seriously, this is what I saw when I went to my backroom today. I guess I have my answer on why my popularity goes up when I haven't updated in a while...
Anyway, I've been kinda busy in the last few weeks(working at a summer camp, catching up on sleep from going to work at said summer camp at 8 in the morning, FINALLY boxing up and sending my GBA SP that broke several months ago back to Nintendo to get fixed, procrastinateng in new and inventive ways, babysitting my niece and nephew, learning to drive) but I've finally found time to listen to that 12 minute long song on Kanye's cd and return to post here. The only problem is, I really want to change this humble MyO around, but I have absolutely no ideas. I still want to keep the Gundam colors that absolutely no one else but me noticed, but other than that, I've got nothing, but I'm more than happy to recieve ideas.
Tell me the truth, how many of you tried clicking on the Lord of the Doughnuts banner that Eli gave me?

Ah The Innocence(Lack Of Sense?)Of Youth
Listening To: Realize Tamaki Nami
Current Series: Tenjou Tenge
Episode 3
I'm watching my nine year old nephew play my copy of The Legend of Zelda the Windwaker as I type this, and he's up to the Part where you get up to the Foresaken Fortress for first time. Around the ninth or tenth time that I watched poor Link's face hit the cold stone floor of his jail cell, I said to my frustrated nephew, "Dude, the barrel. Just pick up the barrel..."
"Why?" He replied like I had just calmly asked him to sprout wings and fly to Guam to get me a soda. I just shook my head and continued to watch him roll into the Moblin Guards in an attempt to incapacitate them, and listen to him muse about Link being able to scale walls...
The last time that I tried to update here, I composed a magnificent piece of material for all of you to read. However, as I pressed the add post button, that dreaded SOB of the Cannot Find Server page came up. On an unrelated note, I changed my browser to Mozilla, and I'm quite happy with its lack of that damn page features. Needless to say, I was pissed off. So pissed off that I left my MyO to fester for a while.
Today's Pearl is gonna be a combination of that last post's Pearl (courtesy of www.gamewinners.com) and the normal Pearl that I always include(courtesy of a bottle of Snapple). Now if you'll excuse me, I hear the now familiar sound of an alarm going off, coupled with the loud cries of "But I got so far!" from my nephew.

I Have Been Defeated...
Listening To: Aerodynamic by Daft Punk
Now I know how Casey felt after the umpire called strike three. I know how Agent Smith felt at the end of Matrix Revolutions. Hours of strethened resolve, days of mustered nerve, all felled with a single word. Mind you, it was the most disarming word in the English language to one who thinks that they have made ample precautions against it isn't expecting it. It's hard to believe that a single word could be so disconcerting, but you try having somebody call you "daddy" and we'll see how you react...

I Ask You...
Listening to: Ima Made Nando Mo by Masu Misairu
Current Series:
Re-watching Magical Shopping arcade Abenobashi Episode 13
Would it be wrong to post only in order to add a Pearl of Wisdom?
Can we just say no and move on?
*!*KIRA'S PEARL OF WISDOM*!*
The phrase "All your base are belong to us" originates from a badly translated game called Zero Wing, released in the 1989 from Toaplan, a japanese company famous for it's sidescrolling shooters. It was never released in the US, and the translation comes from the European PAL verson of the game, which found it's way onto the net in 1998. It spawned several photoshopped pics, and even a music video...

Woot!!!11!114...
Listening To: eX Dream by Julian Lewis(X TV opening theme)
Current Series: (see previous post)
Eli woke up yesterday. Best birthday present that I could have asked for, even though my birthday is today. Today has been pretty good, seeing as how I've been laughing all day. I spazzed out and made another 36 avatars before she came online, so that brings me to a grand total of 60.
As long as you have Aol, everyone is invited to my birthday chat that I'm having as I type this post. Just get online and send me an IM. Tell(invite)your friends.

My Stomach Hurts
Listening to: The Raising Fighting Spirit by Toshiro Masuda(from Naruto)
Current Series: Re-watching Naruto
Episode 34
It's been that way for a while now. Incidentally, this is like the third time that I have tried to write this post. A good friend of mine was hurt really badly a few days ago, and I haven't heard from her since. I've been really worried about it, so I've been making avatars to pass the time.
I'm up to number 24.
I feel angry, scared and disappointed. Disappointed in people who could hurt one of the nicest people that I've ever met. Get better soon Eli.

Like A Protoss Dragoon From Starcraft, I Have Returned
Listening To:Verbal Gunfight by Jurassic 5
Current Series: A toss-up between Love Hina, and Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi
So I've been away for a while. The strange thing is, my ranking has shot up to 471, much higher than it ever went when I was doing daily. Interesting...
Anyhow, today I've decided to post on matters concerning my OB standings. As of now, I Belong to Burori's Legendary Super Saiyajins Club, Baron Samedi's Obcenely Cool People, Shinkin's Shinkin Alliance, and The Vampire: Ed's Cracker Club. I'm also the infamous Donut King according to Ozy Jones. Why am I telling you all of this? I'm not sure. Mainly I guess it's for the shameless plugging of everyone that I've mentioned, but also to tie into how envolver many of us get with OB. I actually have two kids on OB(Digital Shadow, Princess_keiko, ) and two nieces(island gurl,Ryoko T.D.C.). Where was I when all of this happened? Oh well... Today's Pearl has to do with one of my new favorite anime, Full Metal Panic. It is the origin of the name of one of my favorite mechs on the series, the ARX-7 Arbalest, according to the official FMP site. What the signifigance of it is, i'm not sure, but read on anyway.
*!*KIRA"S PEARL OF WISDOM*!*
The arbalest was a projectile-launching war machine used in medieval Europe and based on the principle of the crossbow. It had to be loaded by mechanical means. The word itself comes from two Latin words: arcus (“bow”) and ballista (“projectile machine,” derived from the Greek root ballein, “to throw”). The compound arcuballista was shortened and introduced into English by the French.

Tables Are Hard
Listening to: High Fidelity by Daft Punk
Current Series: Samurai Deeper Kyo
Episode: 9
Sorry for the bait and switch, but it seems to have shot me up to 491. As you can see, I have a new table and a new opening format, but it still needs lots of help. Any offers? Please? Anyhow, I found this quiz on somebody's MyO, but I can no longer remember where... Oh well, if it was you, just tell me and I'll edit your credit.(heehee) Today's Pearl is a real classic, in fact it is the first fact that I ever posted, before they were Pearls. Wanna see it? Well, we'll be right back after this quiz result.
*!*KIRA'S PEARL OF WISDOM*!* Polybius Check it out, it's scary. Also, download it here, if you dare... In fact, don't dare, just disregard the second link. If you do click on the link, you understand that I bear no responsibility with what happens to your head or your computer. In fact, if you are even thinking of clicking on that link, just dive head first off of your bed onto the floor and save yourself the time of waiting for it to download.

Listening to: Ode to Joy, from Symphony #9(fourth movement) by Ludvig Von Beethoven
No banner yet, and I'm at 495. Still, progress is progress. I've added a random button which is so random, it doesn't even take you to the site pictured! Leave a comment if you want to be added to the list. Next project: tables. No one seems to want to review my artwork on OB, how sad... If you click the button enough, it'll take you there, so please take the time to take a look.
So, I finished Full Metal Panic yesterday, and don't get me wrong, it was excellent; but it really wasn't the ending that I was hoping for. It seemed as if the creators of the series were out of ideas and time, so they just kinda rushed the final battle between the main character and the main antagonist just to get it out of the way. All in all, I really enjoyed the series, and I can't wait to get the second season. I decided to start watching Samuri Deeper Kyo instead of re-watching one of the other series on my computer. I've watched the first eight episodes, and so far, it reminds me a lot of Bastard, and a bit of Love Hina(but only because Mibu Kyoshiro and Urashima Keitaro are so similar). Not just because of the increadibly similar concepts, but because of how much of a total badass Kyo and Dark Schnieder are. I'm quite interested to see how it turns out. Today's Pearl is a bit obvious, but strangely enough, not many people use it.
*!*KIRA"S PEARL OF WISDOM*!*
If a picture on a site that you go to(like say my random button of mystery, for instance) shows up as nothing more than that blasted red x, right click on it and choose "Show Picture" from the list, located right under "Print Target". Works almost every time.
Kira signing off.
