   Obituary
My Gateway Solo 1450, passed away last Thursday evening, from circuit meltdown or overload. We're not sure which. We believe it may have been suicide. It has both saddened and shocked me, as I had believed it was a happy computer. I was unaware of its psychiatric issues with depression. Somehow I missed the signs. I thought I was a good owner, but it hated me so much that it chose to blow itself up than spend one more moment as my computer companion. Woe as me, woe as me.

My Gateway is survived by me and only me. None of my files survived. Out of its seething hatred for me, it took everything; all my graphics, writing, even my school records for my daughter, with it into the great beyond. Somewhere, floating in the ether are chapters 4 and 5 of the fan fiction, and two more wallpapers. We shall never see them. I'll have to rework everything later.

Thanks to everyone who visits my site. Please sign my guestbook, in rememberence of my Gateway. I only had two good years with it, but those were special years.

Next time, I'm getting a Dell!
