Aha! I know what went wrong! Pfft! And actually, it was a really stupid mistake. Anyway, thanks to Lindz, I’m up and running again.
Your Yuki is in the mail. ^,~
So, I have this co-worker, who for the past three weeks has been showing up at the store completely foxed, like five minutes before we close. Since this is an employee, our manager Jason allows the break with policy. And every week for the past three weeks, this person has proposed to me.
As I told Lindz, I’m more terrified that this co-worker will ask me one day sober, over the loud speaker. That’d be a bit grimey, to say the least.
So, since this has happened so often, today everyone was teasing me about it. (Because it always happens Tuesday nights.) My co-worker Merv, asked me if he should go out drinking and when I told him to go on out and have fun, he got down on one knee, took out his key ring, moved the keys out of the way and asked me to marry him.
Justin, of course, thought this was marvelously funny, and guffawed while customers quirked curious brows and twitched interested noses.
Later, Greg – another co-worker – said very loudly that he’d just decided to go meet some friends and go drinking after we closed, to which Kristina replied, “Better not come back and ask people to marry you.”
Thankfully though, even with all the ribbing today, it didn’t happen. Why you ask? Because that co-worker had to open the store tomorrow.
Thank you managerial staff!
Oh, and while I have you all here…There’s something I’ve wanted to ask a group of people, but never could, because they weren’t fans – or didn’t know much – and I know you lot do not have such a problem.
The Question: Which Anime/Manga would you say your life most resembles?
